Joining a team of 6 Tax Specialists in a friendly, collaborative culture where you will be supported on induction.

Your new role You will join an experienced Tax Team that will welcome you with extensive training and support to ensure you are a success.

This team is known as a supportive, inclusive team within the organisation.

Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing transactional tax compliance affairs.

This is an initial contract position.

Vincent Murray will provide you with details.

Assist in the management and monitoring of tax compliance Prepare VAT, RCT, PSWT, PAYE and CT returns and ensure that the related Revenue deadlines and requirements are achieved in an efficient and effective manner in accordance with tax legislation/guidance.

This would include a reconciliation of returns to tax balances in accounts Provide necessary guidance and advice on tax legislation to those with responsibility for processing transactions Liaise with the tax leads to ensure all tax compliance activities are undertaken and to support any Tax reporting requirements.

Establish and maintain relationships across the business, particularly working closely with Accounts Payable and Procurement Assist in promoting an increased awareness of tax risks, threats and opportunities Assist in identifying key taxation issues and taking appropriate action to minimise tax risks / exposures and maximise returns.

Provide appropriate support/advisory/training on tax-related matters, including researching and resolving technical queries from the transaction services function, reviewing contracts, carrying out periodic reviews, and advising on any updates in new tax legislation.

Continually strive to seek improvements and efficiencies for running and executing tax activities Keep up-to-date with all relevant tax requirements Respond to related tax correspondence and research issues as they arise Managing the tax process for dealing with imports of goods What you'll need to succeed You must have strong exposure to all areas of taxation, including Current & Deferred Tax, RCT, VAT, WHT, PSWT, PAYE etc You must be Tax Qualified and ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA, Chartered, CPA, ACCA) What you'll get in return Flexible working options available, with the option to work 2 days in the office and 3 at home.

Salary in the range of €65,000 to €70,000 with possible wiggle room depending on experience.

The role involves managing a diverse client portfolio ranging from SMEs to large international groups, with direct exposure to partners and significant opportunities for progression.

Responsibilities Work closely with partners and liaise with other departments, including Audit and Corporate Finance.

Maintain and strengthen relationships with a wide portfolio of clients.

Prepare tax computations across all tax heads, including income tax, corporation tax, and capital taxes.

Compute adjusted profit, prepare Capital Allowances Schedules, and file income tax returns using ROS.

Handle Revenue audits/investigations and related client correspondence.

Critically analyse information, prioritise workload, and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

Requirements Minimum of 3 years senior-level experience in taxation.

Strong technical knowledge across all tax heads.

Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to manage client relationships.

Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle complex tax matters.

High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to use initiative.
