A Critical Care Nurse in Ireland plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with life-threatening conditions.

Patient Care:

Being a Dialysis nurse requires commitment and passion along with the skills and competencies to juggle the technical nursing aspect whilst giving holistic care. You will be working autonomously, responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of care for
dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease or acute kidney injury.
Kilkenny Dialysis Unit operates 20 haemodialysis stations, serving up to 80 patients, in partnership with the Health Service Executive using only the latest equipment. Nursing is planned at a ratio of 1:4 patients, and you will be supported by HCA's on each shift.
This is a full time, fixed term role (12 months) working 37.5 hours a week. Current days are working various shifts Monday to Saturday between 7.00am to 6.30pm.

Limerick Unit operates 24 haemodialysis stations, serving up to 96 patients.
This is a full time role of 37.5 hours a week. Current days are working various shifts between 6.30am to 18.00pm Monday to Saturday.
