Are you an **NMBI** Registered Nurse seeking an exciting new opportunity to learn specialist skills in renal dialysis nursing? 
You may have HSE experience or have worked in the private care sector, but whatever your Nursing background, with the right attitude and aptitude we have an opportunity for you!
**What does the role involve?**
Being a Dialysis nurse requires commitment and passion along with the skills and competencies to juggle the technical nursing aspect whilst giving holistic care. You will be working autonomously, responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of care for dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease or acute kidney injury.
**Dublin** unit operates **20** haemodialysis stations, serving up to 100 patients, in partnership with **two of the largest teaching hospitals in Dublin** using only the latest equipment.
This is a **full time** **role of** **37.5 hours** a week. Current days are working various shifts between 6.30 **pm** to 6.00pm **(Monday to Saturday** **)** .

The Staff Nurse shares responsibility with the nursing team for maintaining a high standard of nursing care under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing. They will at all times maintain a high standard of professional and ethical responsibility and continuously develop their clinical expertise, leadership and teaching skills through nursing practice in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and Health, Information and Quality Authority (HIQA). Requirements of the Registered General Nurse Be registered on the General Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Be flexible in relation to their work pattern and assigned unit of care. Have a clear, open and friendly communication style with the ability to respond quickly and appropriately across a variety of situations. Have excellent communication and organizational skills. Have proven clinical experience, a clear commitment to person-centred care, and strong interpersonal skills. Have fluent spoken and written English. Responsibilities of the Registered General Nurse: Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to residents within the guidelines specified by the NMBI and HIQA. Assist in the management and care of residents, with particular focus on Orwell Healthcare policies and procedures and the Health Information and Quality Authority standards. To maintain a high level of professional integrity and clinical practice in accordance with the code of Professional Conduct for Nurses as prescribed by Nursing and Midwifery Board Ireland. To demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with other disciplines within and outside of the organisation.
