Key Responsibilities

Your Profile

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience. An ideal candidate even tried a managerial role in that field but realised hands-on experience in a fast paced environment is a lot more entertaining role.

• Strong background in security monitoring and detection engineering for cloud environments.

• Strong background in programming. You don't have to be a seasoned software developer, but general programming in multiple languages and the ability to understand even complex source code is a must. LLMs help, but responsibility remains on our shoulders. Our main languages are JVM (Java or Kotlin) and Javascript/Typescript plus a lot of Python and other scripting.

• Experience with public cloud infrastructure (ideally AWS).

• Experience with edge security solutions, especially Cloudflare

• Any relevant certifications are a plus, e.g.: CISSP, CEH, OSWA, OSWE, etc

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.

• Familiarity with the FinTech environment and/or the cryptocurrency domain is a strong plus.

• Analytical thinking, highly organised mind. We don't have the capacity to micromanage, we need to rely on your abilities.

• Strong ability to prioritise and choose your battles. Our security imperfections need to be carefully evaluated and their solution deliberately prioritised.

**The Role**
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Engineer with a strong focus on Cloud/Data Centre Security Automation and DevSecOps to join our Security Engineering team.
In this role, you will lead initiatives to design, build, and scale cloud/data centre security automation from first principles, enabling secure-by-default infrastructure and secure software delivery pipelines. Network Security Engineer - Dublin I am excited to be working with one of Europe's leading companies who are looking to fill a number of critical Network Security Engineers to work from their state of the art Dublin offices. Key Responsibilities: Manage and secure Cisco Routers, Switches, Networking Devices, and Security Appliances. Configure, support, and troubleshoot Firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS solutions across complex networking environments. Design and implement secure network architectures using Cisco Secure Access, Edge Network Security, Threat Control, and Secure Mobility solutions. Deploy and manage Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and implement 802.1X secure network access policies. Monitor and maintain network access security using Cisco ISE appliances. Implement advanced Cisco security solutions to mitigate external threats and protect connected devices. Provide operational support for identity management and network access control systems. Identify and resolve issues within Cisco network security appliances and Cisco IOS Software devices. Configure Cisco perimeter edge security solutions, including Cisco ASA firewalls. Manage and maintain the security of Cisco switches, routers, and ASA firewalls. Implement and troubleshoot remote-access and site-to-site VPN solutions using Cisco ASA and Cisco IOS routers.
