This position is to Manage the optimisation, integration & customisation of security technologies within the Network Security Team. Focus on continuous improvement and to seek opportunities to exceed expectations. Specifically, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Promoting awareness of Cyber risks and policies across the business.

- At least 3-5 years' experience in an IT Security industry role, with hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations and five plus years' experience in the IT industry.
- Proven hand on experience and knowledge of the following security technologies including configuration, monitoring and issue resolution of Web Gateway, Web Application Firewall, IDS/IPS.
- Deals with technical issues - dealing with multiple systems and multiple features.
- Implement components of the technical infrastructure and be a resource for other technologists, architects and management
- Owns the resolution of incidents and problems. Acts as lead technologist. Ensures that solutions arrived at are comprehensive and of high quality.
- Ensures that their assigned tickets are actively managed and positive impact on the teams SLA.

EMEA Non-Traditional Environment (NTE) Security Team are looking for a Data Center Security Specialist to join our expanding Non-Traditional Control Center Team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, innovative, and professional.
They will have a passion for delighting customers, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The Data Center Security Specialist role may encompass oversight of contract employee deliverables and collaboration with NTE Security Managers in order to devise security strategies, achieve financial targets, and to improve the overall operational security within our NTE Data Centers. They will report to the NTE Regional Security Operations Manager.
Key job responsibilities
Coordinate the activities with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate the activities of a professional contract guard force.
Interface with and assist in mobilizing vendors involved in system repairs and new security construction.
Oversee individual security vendor deliverables, track service delivery and request corrective actions from vendors as needed.
Foster working relationships to educate Data Center business partners and stakeholders on NTE Security posture, processes and procedures.
Foster working relationships to educate Data Center business partners and stakeholders on false alarm reductions.
Extract metrics and observe improvements by looking at and analyzing data.
Verify Data Center security programs are delivered to meet defined global security standards.
Develop strategies for improving electronic surveillance and access controls.
Draft reports and prepare presentations on the status of physical security operations.
Collaborate with managers in writing and implementing security processes and procedures.
Serve as a customer advocate by identifying security-related opportunities and crafting innovative solutions that maintain uncompromising security standards.
Be able to work a 24/7/365 shift pattern.
Basic Qualifications
Be proficient in English language verbal and written communication skills.
1+ year of experience working in a standards-based professional work environment.
1+ year of experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data to drive process and system improvement, and effect quality assurance.
1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year working in an operations, physical security or equivalent environment.
2+ years of experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data.
Participated in an Integrated Project Team or served as part of team to complete a general project.
2+ years of experience compiling reports.
1+ years of demonstrated leadership skills.
1+ years of incident response & management experience.
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office tools
