Key Responsibilities:
Data Integration & ETL Processes:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Synapse/Microsoft Fabric.
- Ensure seamless data integration from various sources into the data warehouse.
- Optimize ETL processes for efficiency and performance.
Data Modelling & Warehousing:
- Design and implement a medallion data architecture aligned with business objectives, leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, Python (Spark), and SQL.
- Design, develop and maintain robust star schema data models to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
- Establish and implement data architecture, data warehousing and data management principles, standards, and best practices.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security.
Microsoft Fabric Utilisation:
- Utilise Microsoft Fabric to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities.
- Implement and manage data workflows in Microsoft Fabric for optimal performance.
BI Development:
- Gather and analyse business and technical requirements to design effective data solutions
- Development using full Microsoft BI Stack to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization:

Documentation & Reporting:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Synapse and Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong background in data integration, ETL processes, and data modelling.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL, Python and other languages for data scripting transformation and automation.
- Hands-on experience in implementing data lakes, data lakehouses, and data warehouses
- In-depth working knowledge of PowerBI including performance best practices for large data set Views, Dimensions, Cubes, Measures and Partitions

Role Overview
Reporting to the Head of Data, the Data Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, governing, and evolving the enterprise data architecture underpinning ILIM's data platform. Our chosen technology stack is Microsoft ADF, Snowflake and Power BI. You will ensure our data infrastructure supports current and future business needs, aligns with ILIM's data strategy, and enables scalable, compliant, and performant data operations. What you will help us to achieve
- Deliver a best-in-class, user-centric, high-performing, and scalable cloud data platform using Snowflake, supporting ILIM's data strategy and business needs.
- Design and govern best practice data models (Operational Data Store & Data Warehouse), pipelines, data engineering standards, and security best practices within Snowflake and related technologies.
- Work closely with the Data Team to plan, develop, and execute a roadmap of data products (insight delivery, reporting (Power BI), predictive analytics, automation, self-serve) focused on business value.

We are looking for a talented data architect to take technical ownership of a mission-critical organization wide master data platform. In this role the engineer will be responsible for implementing sophisticated data structures in a relational database to support a rapidly evolving business. The role will require designing future-proof relational data models to support business needs and planning for migration from current-state architecture to future state architecture. The ideal candidate should have deep experience architecting and managing high sensitivity/high connectivity data platforms in SQL.
Responsibilities- Create and maintain data pipelines that ingest, transform and stage data.
- Work directly with business and tech partners to design future-state data architecture to support complex relationships between enterprise-critical objects
- Work deeply in SQL to analyze shortcoming of the existing architecture and plot a course for optimizing the model

**Role Overview**
As part of Data Solutions delivery pillar in EMEA, this position requires working on building, maintaining, and evolving enterprise data platform and plays a critical role in designing and constructing the underlying structure that organizes and represents the data within the platform. This involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into conceptual, logical, and physical data models. + Strong hands on understanding of key data modeling concepts and patterns, such as Inmon, and Kimball methodologies.
+ In-depth knowledge of database structure principles, system requirements analysis, and data mining/segmentation techniques.
+ Expertise in SQL, Oracle, and database tuning, with familiarity in data visualization tools.
+ Proven analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude and strong organizational abilities.
+ Experience working across multiple business processes, systems, and platforms, with a strong background in the Financial Services Domain.
+ Hands-on experience with Enterprise Architect or similar tools for UML modeling is advantageous.
+ Experience with data modeling solutions deployment automation is a plus
