Sales & Activity Management

  • Seek, Quote and Convert quotations for new commercial clients.
  • Assist in achieving the overall New Business objectives of the Commercial Lines teams in the Dublin region.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss Pipeline and New Business Strategy.
  • Comply with all relevant compliance legislation and ensure all agreed processed are followed.
  • Manage aged debt and premium collection.

Requirements

Job title: Clinical Development Director (Neurology / Cardio / Immunology)

Job Purpose:

The Clinical Development Director (CDD) is the clinical/scientific and clinical development expert and provides leadership and support to clinical development deliverables and activities within a defined global clinical development program and/or global clinical trial (e.g. clinical development plan, clinical trial protocol), under the leadership of the GPCH.

Major Activities:

  1. Supports and if assigned leads delivery of all assigned clinical deliverables in the assigned section of a clinical program. Clinical deliverables may include the

clinical development strategy for assigned program section(s), clinical sections of individual protocols consistent with the Integrated Development Plans (IDP),

clinical data review and program specific standards, clinical components of regulatory documents/registration dossiers, and publications.

  1. Provides input into final analyses and interpretation including the development of the Clinical Study Report(s) (CSRs), publications and internal/external presentations.

  2. Leads development of clinical sections of trial and program level regulatory documents (e.g., Investigator's Brochures, briefing books, safety updates, submission dossiers, and responses to Health Authorities).

  3. Oversees/conducts ongoing clinical and scientific review of clinical trial data with medical monitor, Clinical Scientific Expert(s) with appropriate oversight from Medical Lead. Work in close collaboration with the data management and statistics teams to ensure proper data quality and analysis of clinical trial results.

  4. Inspection Readiness and interaction with QA - risk assessments, audit preparation, mock interviews, storyboard and presentation prep; Author and/or review abstracts, presentations and manuscripts for accuracy of clinical data and content.

  5. May be the Program Manager of other associates (e.g., CSE).

  6. Provides support to Sr CDMD and/or GPCH in monitoring and safety data and signals the molecule for the assigned section of the clinical trial, may be a member of the Safety Management Team (SMT), and supports overall program safety reporting (e.g., Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs), Drug Safety Update Reports (DSURs), and other safety related documents) in collaboration with the medical monitor, CDMD and Patient Safety.

  7. As a clinical development expert, may support the GPCH or CDH in interactions with external stakeholders (e.g., regulatory authorities, key opinion leaders, data

monitoring boards, advisory boards, patient advocacy groups), internal stakeholders (e.g., CTT, Research, Translational Medicine, Global Medical Affairs, Marketing, HE&OR), and internal decision boards.

  1. May work with Biomedical Research/Translational Medical Sciences) to drive transition of pre-PoC (Proof of Concept) projects to DDP (Development Decision Point) and with Client&L (Business Development & Licensing) including target identification and due diligences together with other medical matters, as assigned.

  2. Ensures career development of Program reports and other clinical colleagues through active participation in the performance management and talent planning processes. Provides on-boarding, training, & mentoring support.

  3. Contributes to medical/scientific training of relevant Client stakeholders on the disease area and compound/molecule. May serve as speaker for franchise medical/scientific training.

  4. May serve on or lead global initiatives (e.g., process improvement, training, SOP development, other Clinical Development line function initiatives).

  5. May be assigned to lead clinical trial(s) as Clinical Scientific Lead and provide leadership and guidance for all clinical aspects of a clinical trial in close

collaboration with the assigned medical monitor and/or CDMD.

KPIs:


• Timely delivery of high quality IDP/CDP sections, CTPs, and other clinical deliverables aligned with IDP/CDP and TPP and endorsed by review committees and internal boards, with acceptance by key external and internal stakeholders


• Applies effective clinical research methodology, including trial design/analyses, efficacy endpoints, safety assessments, and risk management across disease area and development phases


• Strong evidence of quality clinical/scientific review of trial data; lead TA through high quality IDP and protocol reviews; timely development of quality disease/program clinical standards, publications, internal/external presentations, and other CD deliverables


• Strong evidence of quality contributions to and acceptance of clinical sections of regulatory documents, Investigators' Brochures, briefing books, safety updates,

and submission dossiers by key external and internal stakeholders


• Well managed, effective, and engaged clinical teams; demonstrated ability to deputize for GPCH at GCT, as well as other venues as needed


• Clearly demonstrates Client Values and Behaviors

Experience required:


• 7 years of involvement in clinical research or drug development in an academic or industry environment spanning clinical activities in Phases I through IV. 3 years of contribution to and accomplishment in all aspects of conducting clinical trials (e.g., planning, executing, reporting and publishing) in a global/matrix environment in pharmaceutical industry.


• Advanced knowledge of assigned therapeutic area


• Demonstrated ability to establish strong scientific partnership with key stakeholders


• Thorough knowledge of GCP, clinical trial design and methodology, statistical analysis methodology, and regulatory/clinical development process

Purpose

This role is a key member of the Site Operational Excellence Group, reporting to the Senior Manager of Operational Excellence. The mandate of this group is to enable teams and business functions to improve operations and reduce waste by enhancing reliability and efficiency through the application of Continuous Improvement tools, techniques, and methodologies. The Operations Excellence Specialist will measure performance and identify opportunities to optimize and improve productivity. This role requires in-depth knowledge of continuous improvement tools, techniques, and methodologies, along with practical experience in applying them to improve the performance of processes, equipment, people, and systems. The Operations Excellence Specialist will engage with internal customers to support their efforts in solving complex problems and improving performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis and diagnostics to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to leadership.
  • Coordinate idea generation, project identification, prioritization, and overall selection, ensuring that projects are integrated with business strategies.
  • Support the design and delivery of Lean/Six Sigma projects as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Identify and justify project financial savings.
  • Support teams assigned to implementing the recommendations.
  • Design and facilitate workshops and Kaizen events.
  • Drive achievement for own projects and projects they are supporting.
  • Develop standards (labor/machine) and resource modeling.
  • Train all levels of the organization on OE principles and methodologies through our OE Training Program.
  • Coach and mentor Project Sponsors, Black Belts/Green Belts candidates on the proper use of tools, improvement processes, and deployment issues.
  • Encourage an OE culture by influencing and empowering employees to identify opportunities to apply techniques and tools in everyday work activities.
  • Facilitate the sharing of best practices and project successes across the organization.
  • Facilitate communications and change management for key programs and projects.
  • Act as the process owner for a lean practice, responsible for the deployment approach.
  • Perform any other tasks/projects assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering plus a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Experience in manufacturing, technology, and supply chain, with experience in Drug Product manufacturing considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, cGMP, industry regulations, product development, and commercialization.
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one structured problem-solving approach (e.g., A3, DMAIC, 8D, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent (nice to have)

Competencies / Skills:

  • Exceptional data analysis skills, including acquisition and presentation of data. Proficiency in at least one of the following: Microsoft PowerQuery, Spotfire.
  • Ability to successfully operate in a matrix or team environment with site, divisional, and corporate executive leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, priorities, and tasks with minimal direction.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to drive change management and influence for improvement.
  • Strong capabilities with Microsoft Office and Power Platform software – Power BI, Excel, PowerQuery, Project for the Web, PowerAutomate, as well as Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience implementing Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, DMAIC, and/or Lean Manufacturing.
  • Experience developing standards (labor/machine) and performing resource modeling.
  • Financial acumen.
  • Experience with regulated environments (i.e., cGMP, OSHA, EPA).
  • Exceptional capacity to analyze facts and develop logical conclusions.
  • Strong observational and listening skills – capable of quickly understanding the core elements of a new process.
  • Excellent process mapping capabilities – capable of independently mapping a process and leading a team to map a process in a workshop event.
  • Digital skills – comfortable acting as a power user and early adopter of multiple digital tools to promote use within the organization, and capable of identifying ways to deploy digital tools to improve personal productivity.
  • Highly productive and value-oriented.

Scope Of The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Director of Business Development to spearhead our growth and enhance our market presence in Data Centre space. You will be responsible for discovering new business opportunities and fostering strong client relationships.

Roles And Responsibilities Of The Role
Identifying New Business Opportunities:

  • Conduct market research to identify new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
  • Analyse the competitive landscape and market trends to forecast business goals.
  • Leverage Data Analytics: Utilise data analytics tools to gain deeper insights into market trends and customer behaviour.
  • Innovation: Encourage innovation by identifying and exploring new product ideas and business models.

Strategic Planning

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate strategic business development plans.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting to the management team.
  • Risk Management: Develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential business risks.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development initiatives.

Building Relationships

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business partners and stakeholders.

Essential Criteria For The Role

  • Proven experience at Senior Business Development Manager/Director level in Data Centre sector is a must, working direct/indirect with Hyperscale and Enterprise clients
  • Extensive experience in a sales environment with a strong background in the Construction sector
  • Travel required in Europe or as needed
  • Ability to analyse market data and trends to make informed business decisions.
  • Strong strategic planning skills to develop and implement effective business development strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
