This role is responsible for managing the cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for the Data Platform and Data Engineering team. Senior Data Architect - Azure Cloud Daily Rate Contract Dublin (Hybrid) Realtime is working with a leading financial services client in Ireland that is looking to bring in an experienced Data Architect that has experience working on large scale Azure migration projects. In this role, you will take ownership and drive the target Data & AI Architecture to MS Azure. You will also work with key stakeholders across various IT domains that include Development, DevOps, Data & Security. Responsibilities Using your experience of architecture frameworks, communicate the target architecture with key business & IT stakeholders. Ensures compliance of solution architectural designs with target architecture and policies Support business representatives to understand and support the strategy and architecture roadmap. Oversee architecture governance process Supports the implementation of the cloud strategy Assesses new technologies or alternate options by conducting proof of concept style investigations Skills Required 3+ years in a architecture role as well as 10+ years in the field of Data Engineering/ Data Analytics Proven experience in designing of reliable, scalable, secure data cloud architectures at an enterprise scale Experience in data engineering, data storage, data warehousing, BI and analytics Experienced in advanced analytics, ML/ Data Science Experience migrating on-premises data architectures to Azure using: Data Lake & Lakehouse technology DataBricks Azure Data Factory Azure SQL Database Azure ML and Cognitive Services Open Shift PowerBI Networking, gateway & security infrastructure for on-premises integration and hybrid cloud Knowledge of analytical programming languages such as: Python, R, SQL & .NET Knowledge of security concepts The ability to translate business needs into IT Architecture requirements.
