Company description: Join our fantastic team in the South of Ireland supporting and driving the sales of our Industrial Wood coatings! This position is covering the South of Ireland (Dublin to Galway across, and all below), driving business with our existing customers and creating new opportunities to further develop our sales reach. This position is perfect for an experienced sales person living in the area, willing to travel. Ideally with paint or coatings experience, but equally a desire to learn and a hungry to grow would be ideal as we can train the technical skills. Job description: Develop sales plans and manage day-to-day activities Work closely with direct end users and distribution network Ensure that pricing is accurate and up to date Negotiate sales Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, retention, advertising, pricing, and strategies. Search & create new business opportunities Work closely with technical team for trials and trouble shooting. Report promptly competitor activity, market trends, price surveys and new product development. Participate in relevant trade shows, or functions as required. Required profile: Minimum 5 years sales experience Full clean driving license with the ability to travel 80% of the time Dynamic and results oriented Preferred Bachelors degree or equivalent in relevant Science subject, or Diploma in Paint Technology. Experience from coatings industry, Knowledge of industrial application equipment, knowledge of kitchen cabinet and exterior joinery sectors.
