Catalyx are seeking a Distribution Centre Manager to work on our customer site in Dublin. The position will require the candidate to liaise with the client site and the Catalyx Management team.
The Manager will support and deploy the development of industry best practice procedures for optimizing the movement of product throughout the Distribution Centre.

Key duties and responsibilities:
To lead the Distribution centre team to achieve the required performance targets as set out by the strategic goals.
Interacting and liaising with the customer services teams locally and internationally to prioritise orders and to provide a best-in-class service.
Provide monthly KPI reports to management including causal analysis of unfavorable variances and corrective action plans as per strategic targets and as agreed with Management
Works with finance to identify inventory items that are potential write-offs so that the appropriate financial reserve can be made in the accounting systems.
Ensure GDP compliance by the transportation providers to SOPs, relating to the transportation of products, and any other legal or Regulatory requirements.
Through policy and procedure improvement/changes, develop inventory processes to minimise risk and improve compliance in the Distribution centre In Line with GMP&GDP requirements.
Managing process and material flows, space management, to maximise utilisation of the Distribution centre.
Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports the quality policy, Quality management system and the appropriate regulations for the area they support
Maintaining best in class housekeeping policies within the Distribution centre using the 7S principles and methodologies.
People management - supervision of the Distribution centre team to ensure that all customers (both internal and external) requirements are serviced in line with expectations. This will be achieved through the application of an empowering style of leadership which draws fully on resources and capabilities of the team coupled with a positive employee relations approach.
Manage communications and periodic reviews with all staff members, ensuring all performance issues are dealt with in a constructive and prompt manner.
Facilitate open two-way communications regarding individual, team and company performance through weekly team meetings and daily interaction on the line.
Execute the training program to ensure the direct team are supported regarding provision of training to enable a right first-time approach to all activities.
Ensure compliance with EHS & Company policies & procedures including employment legislation.
Administration duties which include time and attendance system, Holiday planning, and succession planning.
Initiates and coordinates shipments between warehouses.
Develops, maintains, and communicates metrics to monitor and improve performance.
Prepares and maintains required ERP system documents such as work orders, purchase orders and Material Transfer Requests.
Drive ad-hoc meetings to review exceptions/changes to inventory/processes & systems.
Conducts Root Cause analysis and drives appropriate corrective actions for identified issues and preventive actions to remove issues from recurring.
Present monthly to Client on KPIs, Service, People, Delivery and Safety.
Build, develop, and maintain relationships with the client, ensuring we meet and exceed their agreed service standards.
Build relationships with all stakeholders of the business, i.e. Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, external warehouse and third-party logistics
Strengthening the image and reputation of the business by adding value to the client
Perform additional duties as assigned aligned to the mission of the team.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science / Engineering or relevant qualification preferred.
Previous experience of people-management and demonstrated ability in people motivation, organising and team building.
Previous experience in medical device/pharmaceutical environment.
Strong knowledge of GMP/GDP/FDA regulatory & Known Consignor, Warehouse housekeeping, Health & Safety.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of validation an advantage.
Previous experience of working within a Known Consignor approved warehouse.
Previous experience or working knowledge of the Lean principles and methodologies would be a distinct advantage.
Building and managing partnerships cross functionally.
Strong knowledge of the logistics and distribution industry including an awareness of relevant legislation.
Strong analytical skills to analyse and interpret challenging business situations and determine strategy.
Strong leadership, decision-making and influencing skills to drive results and the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
Ability to work on own initiative, innovate and review current processes and practices.
Knowledge and experience with ERP systems.

**Distributor Management Function** : Establishes the Distributor Management function, including key cross-functional relationships that leverage the expertise of corporate procurement and legal services. Ensures that DCCC services are scalable to organizational growth:

+ **Risk Management** : Identify and escalate Distributor-related risks, ensuring business continuity and adherence to SLAs.
+ **Distributor Governance** : Ensure proper governance structures are in place, leading quarterly business reviews with internal stakeholders to drive accountability and performance for the DCCC.
+ **Stakeholder Management:** Be the single point of contact for internal stakeholders in their interaction with the DCC ensuring that internal SLAs are met. Gathers key stakeholder input regarding needs, service delivery, and quality, to ensure business alignment in partnership with Procurement and Contract Services.

AbbVie Cork is a dynamic Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) site, producing a diverse portfolio of innovative technologies and products.
We are currently sourcing a?Supply Chain Manager?to join our site leadership team, reporting to our Site Head. The Supply Chain Manager leads all supply chain and warehouse activities related to supply of current products and new product launches.
This includes coaching and mentorship of an experienced and skilled team across Demand Management and Supply Levelling, Master Scheduling, Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), and Warehouse/Storage management.

Here is a snapshot of your responsibilities:
+ Ensure the development and delivery of the Supply Chain organizational vision and strategic objectives.
+ Build, develop and mentor a team of diverse professionals within your function.
+ Partner with the Senior Leadership team to execute on the site and enterprise-wide strategy.
+ Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product availability, with full alignment to production plan while driving continuous improvements to sustain Operational Excellence and improved financial performance across your team.
+ Take responsibility for Health & Safety, as well as the core Environmental and Energy Sustainability Programmes within the Supply Chain function.
+ Develop senior level relationships with suppliers to resolve critical issues, deliver cost savings, and implement value-added processes.
+ Monitor and achieve optimal inventory turnover consistent with plant efficiencies, customer service and distribution requirements.
+ Ensure that the internal rolling forecast file, which is used to track inventory, production schedule adherence, production batch status and shipment schedule adherence is maintained.
+ Identify and implement continuous improvement Projects in the Supply Chain and WH Areas.
+ Work with the quality system ensuring that the site quality policy and GMP and GDP is fully complied with on a continuous basis.
+ Ensure Known consignor certification is maintained
+ Contribute to the development of the Global Supply Chain Function, i.e. become an active participant of the global team.
+ Champion and lead Culture & Engagement and EEDI initiatives in Supply Chain function and across the site.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or science with 5 years plus experience in supply chain management.
+ 5 year + People Management with demonstrated ability to develop key talent and to set clear vision and strategy for your team
+ OPEX Black / Green belt certified preferably
+ Experience in engaging, collaborating, and influencing at senior leadership level
+ Ability to think outside the box and provide solutions through structured trouble shooting methodologies

**Job Description**
**The Position**
This role is a full-time role in the GSIUC Supply Chain Department, under the Warehouse team. This specific role is required to oversee the Receiving, sampling, picking, and shipping in the GSIUC Warehouse. This position requires a sound knowledge of SAP System, methods, and procedures. The candidate will be required to exercise judgment, within well-defined and established procedures and practices, to identify problems and appropriate actions and to generate alternatives and recommendations within defined processes. The candidate must be proactive in their daily activities and interactions.
**Essential Duties and Job Functions:**
**Inventory Accuracy and Monitoring:**
+ Conduct daily, weekly, or monthly cycle counts of pharmaceutical inventory to ensure accurate stock levels.
+ Verify and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
+ Report inventory variances promptly and recommend corrective actions.
**Receipt of Materials:**
+ Accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming raw materials and components, ensuring all documentation matches physical deliveries. This includes verifying quantities, checking for damage, and ensuring proper storage conditions for both +20 and +5 products.
**Material Sampling:**
+ Perform sampling of incoming materials in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines, maintaining strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
**Material Picking for Manufacturing:**
+ Accurately pick and prepare materials for packaging and tabletting manufacturing lines based on production orders. This involves precise measurement, labelling, and staging of materials, including both +20 and +5 products, to ensure timely and efficient supply to production.
**Equipment and System Use:**
+ Operate handheld scanners, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment as needed for Warehouse operations including working from heights.
+ Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software for data tracking and reporting.
**Safety and Cleanliness:**
+ Adhere to safety guidelines to minimise risks in handling pharmaceutical products.
+ Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the counting area to prevent contamination.
**Continuous Improvement:**
+ Identify opportunities to streamline cycle counting processes and improve inventory accuracy.
+ Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss and implement process improvements.
**Data Entry and Documentation:**
+ Update inventory data in the warehouse management system (WMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
+ Maintain accurate records of cycle counts, adjustments, and investigations.
+ Ensure documentation complies with regulatory standards, such as FDA, GMP, or other pharmaceutical guidelines.
**Regulatory Compliance:**
+ Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) during inventory activities.
+ Ensure the handling and storage of pharmaceuticals adhere to temperature, humidity, and safety requirements.
+ Assist with preparation for internal and external audits.
**Collaboration and Communication:**
+ Coordinate with warehouse supervisors, quality assurance teams, and other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
+ Communicate shortages, overages, and damaged items to relevant stakeholders.
+ Assist with training new employees on inventory control practices as needed.
**Knowledge, Experience and Skills:**
+ Prior experience in pharmaceutical industry is preferred (ideally within a compliance related role)
+ Working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) (FDA / EMEA standards and quality systems)
+ Basic knowledge of OPEX Lean tools, and root cause analysis tools used for identifying and correcting deviations.
+ Demonstrates audit and investigation skills, and report writing skills.
+ Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

+ 4+ years of relevant experience in a GMP environment related field.
