We are seeking a full-time, enthusiastic Electrical Security Systems Apprentice to join our growing security team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn and develop a career in the electrical security field. You will gain hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and servicing a range of security systems while receiving structured training through Cronin Electrical Security and our supplier training days. You will be working across Cork County and Cork City, supporting our clients in both areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of CCTV, access control, intruder alarm systems, and gate automation.
  • Work alongside experienced technicians to learn best practices and safety procedures.
  • Attend training sessions both in-house and with our suppliers to develop technical expertise.
  • Ensure all work meets company and regulatory standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service during installations and site visits.

Requirements:

  • Minimum: Junior Certificate with a grade D in 5 subjects.
  • Full, clean Irish driver's license.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client-focused electrical engineer to join our critical systems team, and to play a leading role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions on some of the most notable and large-scale data centre projects in the world.

You will collaborate within our critical systems team and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to help drive and manage the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance, fault finding and installation of various types of equipment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct wiring, installation, and commissioning of plant equipment.

Electrical Maintenance Technician

Electrical Maintenance Technician
to join their high-performing maintenance team at their modern facility in Co. Meath.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious technician who enjoys problem-solving, working with cutting-edge equipment, and keeping production lines running smoothly.

  • Working Hours: 3 Weeks Day Shift/ 1 Week Evening Shift
  • Competitive salary of €66'000- €76'000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out electrical installations, wiring, and commissioning of production equipment.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults across a variety of machinery to minimise downtime.
  • Performing preventative and reactive maintenance to keep operations running efficiently.
  • Partnering with equipment suppliers on new installations, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Handling electro-mechanical troubleshooting across processing and packaging equipment.
  • Delivering fast, effective solutions to breakdowns in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, health, and safety standards at all times.
  • Recording parts usage, completed work, and ensuring follow-up maintenance is planned.
  • Supporting cross-training opportunities and continuously building your skills.

What We're Looking For:

  • A recognised electrical trade qualification.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar maintenance role within manufacturing.
  • Strong electrical background, with commercial/industrial experience essential.
  • Mechanical skills are a bonus but not required.
  • A proactive problem-solver with the ability to work independently and from schematics.
  • Flexibility for shift work and participation in a call-out rota.
