Support for Senior Engineer staff for project specific requirements for Low Voltage Assemblies (LVA). Generate Solid work models and drawings as required for each project /site requirements Perform initial setup of projects on ERP system IFS. Load production systems with material requirements from approved drawings Compile Technical Drawing Submittals for review by Engineers prior to issuing to the customer. Organize project material for agreed to site schedule and keep rolling progress report Establish and reinforce document control for each project. Set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to evaluate design, focusing on improving performance, overall design, quality, and safety. We are currently seeking a Data Center Operations Electrical/Mechanical/Control Technician to join our Engineering Oprerations Team.
The successful candidate will oversee the operation and maintenance of the electrical and mechanical infrastructure for Data Centers (DC) in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud regions. Our technicians are operating and maintaining AWS DCs' world-class mechanical and electrical infrastructure. In addition to technical operations and maintenance, the successful candidate will oversee facility operations and ensure the implementation of safety procedures.
The role requires a motivated, self-managed individual who demonstrates initiative and proactively seeks solutions to problems while striving for operational excellence. The work follows a process-oriented approach: the individual needs a strong willingness to learn new processes and adapt to rapidly changing operational scenarios with conflicting priorities.
The successful candidate will be part of the Engineering and Facilities team and will be responsible for; maintaining availability for customers; ensuring maintenance and operation of technical infrastructure; and the upkeep and operation of the DC facility.
Key job responsibilities
- Assisting in the operation, and maintenance of all, mechanical, Electrical and HVAC equipment within the Data Center/Facility.
- Develop work plan for emergency repair of critical assets.
- Troubleshooting of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems,
- Operate under minimal supervision.
- Create and close Work Orders with appropriate data, to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used into asset management system
- Maintain changes in state in Mission Critical infrastructure in support of corrective/ preventive maintenance
- Testing: Test quality, performance, safety, and reliability of products, equipment, processes
- Act as a front line responder for hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting. This equipment includes, but is not limited to, AHU's, chillers, cooling towers, chemical treatment systems, pumps, motors, VFD's, and building automation systems.

Electrical Engineering Technician Reporting to the Engineering Manager - you will deliver a high-quality electrical maintenance service to production, & be part of a multidisciplined team of Fitters & Electricians delivering maintenance work. Key Responsibilities: Providing both reactive & planned maintenance support to the full site Carry out installations & commissioning of plant/ equipment & trouble shooting of same Carry out basic programming & diagnostic of plant & equipment Contribute to the efficiency of the operation by maximizing uptime of machinery & minimise downtime in production & utility areas Carry out the execution of the preventive maintenance programs Troubleshooting using PLC Programs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, General Electric & Schneider Electric PLCs) Technical support for all the plant facilities (including but not limited to compressed air & refrigeration Support & participate in all environmental, H&S & quality activities Carry out engineering work orders in a timely & safe manner while maintaining adherence to cGMP As part of the Maintenance team, you will need to work with equipment suppliers on new equipment, installations, & modifications Have working knowledge/experience with a "Lock -out Tag-out" programme Adhere to all site policies on Quality, H&S, e.g. clean overalls, clean work boots, hair nets, hearing protection, h& washing, LOTO etc Assist the H&S team in carrying out risk assessments of new & existing machines Ensure H&S training is rolled out to the Maintenance team Closely monitor line, machine performance & improve where possible Fully support the line leaders/ line support i.e., Overtime, shifts cover, phone support & callouts Overseeing contractors on site Provide general maintenance support as designated by supervisors/ manager to include any or all the following areas: process equipment; HVAC equipment; refrigeration; packaging equipment Provide the Eng Dept with the highest levels of support. Analysing plant downtime levels & implementing effective strategies to increase uptime Ensure Engineering Manager & other Managers kept informed of developments within their areas Qualifications/ Experience/ Skills: A relevant third level qualification in Engineering or time-served Electrician or fitter (Electrical/ Mechanical Qualification/ Mechanical Experience) Min 3 years' experience in a maintenance role, planned & reactive maintenance skills Working knowledge & experience of relevant Health, Safety & Environmental legislation Understand Food Safety policies & legislation (BRC & ISO) Excellent written & verbal communication skills Ability to manage time effectively & meet deadlines Strong problem-solving skills, as well as an analytical, decisive approach Exp of a wide range of motor control systems & process temperature controls & pneumatics Exp using a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) Exp of safety systems utilising Isolation / lock-off procedures, risk assessment & permit to work Flexible & adaptable Strong team player with ability to work on own initiative PLC/ PC Control Systems experience There will also be a requirement to be on-call in this role at times. There are two shifts - 6am to 2.30 pm or 2.30 pm to 23.30 with a 10% shift allowance for the later shift. There is a weekly rotation of shifts too. We have an exciting new opportunity to join the business at a senior level as Technical Director of Electrical Enigneering who wil be the central voice for Electrical Engineering Design and to develop and lead this discipline within PM Group. It is an exciting opportunity to contribute strategically to the future shaping of PM Group. This is a full time, recoverable, technical role within our design service. You will work with the Director of Engineering, the other Discipline Technical Directors and other Heads of Services to determine how we efficiently and consistently deliver design services across the Group. This is a group wide role, covering all 20 design offices. You will contribute significantly to the companies improved performance, to the delivery of safe assets to our customers and to the creation of a work environment that is conducive to enabling a safe, healthy and motivated workforce. This is a senior appointment, reporting to the Director of Engineering, with responsibility for leadership, governance, troubleshooting and for defining the ways of working in Electrical Engineering Design. We offer a flexible working environment, providing a hybrid working arrangement with the option to work from home up to two days a week for this role. This key role and can be based out of one of our offices in Ireland, UK. Poland or Belgium. Interested applicants should submit their CV Responsibilities 1.1 PM Group Strategy for Electrcial Engieering As the Technical Director you will lead the development of the discipline in support of PM Group's strategy and local Business Unit plans. Key aspects include; 1. Develop a strategy for Electrical Engineering across the Group i.e. to forecast and plan the required capability and capacity. 2. Support the Business Units with strengthening and growing their departments i.e. department profiling, team competency gaps and associated training needs etc. 3. Develop targeted SME areas within Electrcial Engineering e.g. sustainability. 4. Work with Architecture and the Engineering Disciplines to align and develop cross functional competencies targeted at key sectors and technologies. 5. Define, for our core sectors, the range of design activities and deliverables required to deliver the projects safely and efficiently. 1.2 Digitalisation of Business Processes / ways of working 1. Define and implement a strategy for continuous improvement of Electrical Engineering 2. Develop and improve the Electrical Engineering Service Delivery Platform (SDP) as part of our Quality management System (QMS). 3. Create a Group wide standardized way of working for Electrical Engineering taking into account the specific requirements in local code and industry norms 4. Ensure the integration of key considerations such as digitally enabled lean design DeLPD, sector specific approaches and our design office locations. 5. Business transformation projects are an investment cost (i.e. unsold) and their own time is managed by the Technical Director. 1.3 Governance of Design Delivery 1. Support / input to key Sales Proposals as requested by the Director of Engineering. 2. Work with the Director of Engineering to establish a 'watch list' of key projects based on the extent of design challenge and technical integrity risk. 3. Influence the early stages of design on key projects. 4. Chair Single Discipline Design Reviews (SDDRs) on key projects. 5. Review Project Basis of Safety documents as required by the Director of Engineering. 6. Input to end of Concept / BoD 'go, no go' reviews for high risk challenging projects. 1.4 Troubleshooting 1. Be a 'first responder' for critical issues regarding Electrcial Engineering design across the Group. 2. Meet with senior members of both our own and the customer's team. 3. Agree corrective actions / way forward. 4. Act as Technical Sponsor for the corrective actions. 5. Keep PM Group management updated on correction action progress. Qualifications Passion for Electrical Engineering Safe asset focus Bachelor degree 15 years relevant industry experience with at least 10 working at senior management level Have good working knowledge of Pharma, Med Tech and Data Center industries Member of a recognized Engineering professional body. (Institution of Electrcial and Electronic Engineering for example). Strong technical, commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
