**What you will need:**
+ Currently completing an Irish or Northern Irish university qualification in Engineering courses including:

We are currently seeking a Data Center Operations Electrical/Mechanical/Control Technician to join our Engineering Oprerations Team.
The successful candidate will oversee the operation and maintenance of the electrical and mechanical infrastructure for Data Centers (DC) in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud regions. Our technicians are operating and maintaining AWS DCs' world-class mechanical and electrical infrastructure. In addition to technical operations and maintenance, the successful candidate will oversee facility operations and ensure the implementation of safety procedures.
The role requires a motivated, self-managed individual who demonstrates initiative and proactively seeks solutions to problems while striving for operational excellence. The work follows a process-oriented approach: the individual needs a strong willingness to learn new processes and adapt to rapidly changing operational scenarios with conflicting priorities.
The successful candidate will be part of the Engineering and Facilities team and will be responsible for; maintaining availability for customers; ensuring maintenance and operation of technical infrastructure; and the upkeep and operation of the DC facility.
Key job responsibilities
- Assisting in the operation, and maintenance of all, mechanical, Electrical and HVAC equipment within the Data Center/Facility.
- Develop work plan for emergency repair of critical assets.
- Troubleshooting of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems,
- Operate under minimal supervision.
- Create and close Work Orders with appropriate data, to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used into asset management system
- Maintain changes in state in Mission Critical infrastructure in support of corrective/ preventive maintenance
- Testing: Test quality, performance, safety, and reliability of products, equipment, processes
- Act as a front line responder for hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting. This equipment includes, but is not limited to, AHU's, chillers, cooling towers, chemical treatment systems, pumps, motors, VFD's, and building automation systems.

Electrical Engineering Technician Reporting to the Engineering Manager - you will deliver a high-quality electrical maintenance service to production, & be part of a multidisciplined team of Fitters & Electricians delivering maintenance work. Key Responsibilities: Providing both reactive & planned maintenance support to the full site Carry out installations & commissioning of plant/ equipment & trouble shooting of same Carry out basic programming & diagnostic of plant & equipment Contribute to the efficiency of the operation by maximizing uptime of machinery & minimise downtime in production & utility areas Carry out the execution of the preventive maintenance programs Troubleshooting using PLC Programs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, General Electric & Schneider Electric PLCs) Technical support for all the plant facilities (including but not limited to compressed air & refrigeration Support & participate in all environmental, H&S & quality activities Carry out engineering work orders in a timely & safe manner while maintaining adherence to cGMP As part of the Maintenance team, you will need to work with equipment suppliers on new equipment, installations, & modifications Have working knowledge/experience with a "Lock -out Tag-out" programme Adhere to all site policies on Quality, H&S, e.g. clean overalls, clean work boots, hair nets, hearing protection, h& washing, LOTO etc Assist the H&S team in carrying out risk assessments of new & existing machines Ensure H&S training is rolled out to the Maintenance team Closely monitor line, machine performance & improve where possible Fully support the line leaders/ line support i.e., Overtime, shifts cover, phone support & callouts Overseeing contractors on site Provide general maintenance support as designated by supervisors/ manager to include any or all the following areas: process equipment; HVAC equipment; refrigeration; packaging equipment Provide the Eng Dept with the highest levels of support.
