- Be fully competent in manufacturing product through all work steps and in identifying Accept and Reject samples for all steps. Understand the intended use of product and the impact of defects to functionality of product. Perform functional testing of product where required.
- Continually review the manufacturing process for improper application of work methods and equipment settings.
- Communicate promptly, clearly and effectively at all times, to the Line Lead and Line Support Technician with regard to equipment and process issues with a clear plan for resolution that is data driven.
- Support for equipment introduction in CERs and completing and maintaining accurate up-to-date documentation (EIQ's, PMs, etc).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Requires a Level 6 Higher Certificate, or above in Engineering or equivalent (preferably Mechanical, Mechatronics or Automation Engineering).
- Minimum 5 years experience in a technical role in a similar field is required, demonstrated experience with automated equipment maintenance is an advantage.
