What will the work look like for me?
As a Daktronics Intern, You Will Work With a Team Of Developers And Professionals To Design, Develop, And Deliver Software Solutions To Various Daktronics Customers And Business Groups. You Will Primarily Focus On

• Application Development: Enhancement and maintenance of our current applications and solutions along with design and development of new software applications using Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Programming Languages: A majority of work would be done in the C#, C++, JavaScript and Typescript software development languages.
• Team Collaboration: Work within a larger development team to solve problems.
• Testing and Documentation: Write unit tests for existing code along with assisting in the development of software product requirements and design documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed to support the efforts of Daktronics.

This internship runs from
March 2026 to August 2026
, with the possibility of adjusting the schedule to fit your academic calendar.

Qualifications
To be considered for Software Design Intern, we require the following:
Academic Requirements

• The preferred candidate will be a full-time student in their third year currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Students who will start the internship the semester immediately following their Bachelor's degree graduation will also be considered.
• Required grading of 2:1 or higher.
• Able to take a semester off from school to complete the internship, if applicable.
• Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week (flexible between the working hours of 10am and 8pm).
• Work through the Cooperative Education/Internship Program at your accredited university and Faculty Coordinator to arrange for credit while participating in this 5-month internship.
• Unofficial transcripts or web transcripts must be submitted with application to be considered for this internship.

Preferred Experiences

• Object oriented programming knowledge is required. Knowledge of C++, C#, or Java preferred, but other object-oriented languages are acceptable.
• Preferred courses related to object-oriented design and data structures.
• Knowledge of GIT or other source control software.

The Role

We're seeking an experienced and visionary
Director of ERP Systems
to lead the strategy, governance, and performance optimization of our ERP platforms — including
SAP
,
Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
, and
Business Central
.

In this senior leadership role, you'll drive the alignment of ERP systems with organizational goals, ensuring seamless integration and performance across all business units. You'll oversee the management, enhancement, and scalability of these mission-critical systems, enabling our operational and financial ambitions and supporting ongoing digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and drive the ERP strategy in line with business objectives and long-term vision.
• Evaluate and recommend ERP solutions, upgrades, or replacements.
• Champion ERP-led digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.

Governance & Oversight

• Establish frameworks for ERP usage, ensuring standardization, compliance, and risk management.
• Oversee budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure system performance, scalability, and security while maintaining business continuity.

Project Leadership

• Lead enterprise-wide ERP projects, including new implementations and cross-functional integrations.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Professional ERP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, Oracle Cloud Certification).
• Experience with cloud-based ERP platforms and digital transformation initiatives.
