AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

This role supports our Senior Operations team in the professional delivery of international conferences for our multinational corporate client base. The Event Executive is a key person in the planning team, ensuring all delegate information and requirements are captured in an efficient and accurate manner. The Event Executive is involved at all stages of the event planning and delivery process working with our senior team to gain broad and varied experience across many clients and international conference destinations. The role involves periods of international travel.

EVENT OPERATIONS


• International travel required, delivering customer support and on-site registration


• Building and designing virtual event platforms (training provided)


• Creating on-line registration sites for delegates, speakers & sponsors


• Take ownership of the daily management of event registration platforms to ensure smooth delegate experiences and accurate data handling.


• Support the build and design of virtual event platforms, including dedicated event apps (training provided).


• Create and maintain content updates for event websites.


• Daily interaction with delegates dealing directly with large volumes of delegate queries via email and phone and effectively managing workloads


• Management of delegate databases and hotel accommodation blocks


• Creation and management of event abstract submission sites where required (training provided)


• Financial reconciliation of delegate payments (supported by the Finance Manager)


• Working with internal and external providers such as AV, catering, design and digital as required


• Assisting in the logistical planning and execution of successful live and virtual events in Ireland and abroad.

REQUIREMENTS (ESSENTIAL)


• Minimum 2 years experience in an events/customer service/administration orientated role
