About the role: As a Workday Integration Engineer at Deloitte, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients maximize the value of their Workday system through seamless integrations with other enterprise applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in areas such as HR Core, Absence, Recruitment, Compensation and Data to design, develop and implement integrations to truly embed Workday into a client's system landscape. You will partner with client specialists across HR, Payroll, IT and Finance to deliver E2 E value for the client. Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and design integration solutions that align with their organizational needs. Develop and configure Workday integration solutions using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Core Connectors, and other integration tools. Implement data transformations, mappings, and validations to ensure accurate and efficient data flow between Workday and external systems. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the functionality and performance of integration solutions. Provide guidance and support to clients on integration best practices, data governance, and security considerations. Stay updated on the latest Workday releases, features, and integration capabilities, and proactively suggest improvements and innovative solutions. Design and implement specific Workday functional modules or build integrations to send data from Workday to downstream systems such as Payroll, Time & Attendance, Middleware technologies such as Mulesoft, ADP etc. Guide the client through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of the client's unique business requirements at all stages of the project. Identify strategies, risks, and options, recommend approaches and mitigations to meet client requirements. About You: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Previous experience as a Workday Integration Consultant or similar role, with a strong understanding of Workday and its integration tools. Proficiency in developing and configuring integration solutions using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and other integration tools. Solid understanding of integration concepts, such as web services (SOAP, REST), XML, XSLT, and API integration frameworks. Experience with Workday integration technologies, including Workday Studio, Workday Web Services, and Workday Report Writer. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
