Ornua Foods is responsible for the marketing and sales of Ornua's consumer brands including Kerrygold, Dubliner, Pilgrims Choice, Kerrygold Avantage, Forto, and BEO. Markets are served by production facilities and in-market sales and marketing teams in Africa, Asia, Germany, Ireland, the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East, and the US.
Ornua Ingredients is responsible for the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products and for the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers across the world. Ornua Ingredients is also responsible for managing volatility through de-risking and trading strategies. The business is supported by production facilities in Saudi Arabia, Spain, the UK, the US and by in-market teams in Africa and the Middle East.
Job Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Export Documentation Coordinator is to provide accurate and timely documents for our export customers. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
The Export Documentation Coordinator is expected to provide clear, concise and appropriate communication with customers and within Ornua taking ownership of exceptional delivery of documents to our end customers. The role demands attention to detail, adherence to process and trade documentation compliance obligations.
Knowledge of, and adherence to business rules of export regulations is essential. Ad-hoc customer, supplier or internal queries will require professional management and problem-solving ability.
The role demands a high level of technical expertise regarding export procedure and requirements and the ability to contribute to developing execution processes to facilitate Ornua sales volumes.
Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships is a key success factor with specific importance of being able to operate in a virtual team environment where required. Effective teamwork, time & task prioritisation are also essential.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Documentation Compliance & Processing
Understands the use and functions of various export documentation types including issuers, authentication and trade compliance – regulatory, commercial and customer.
Accurate presentation of documents within relevant timelines to enable prompt payment and minimizing risk under letters of credit.
Ongoing knowledge of current revisions of regulations governing trade products, including Uniform Customs and Practices for Documentary Letters of Credit (UCP), Uniform Rules for Collections (URC).
A solid understanding of the workings and expectations of Health and Vet certification submissions set by local Irish authorities.
Knowledge of trade transactions, document examination and discrepancy resolution.
Accurate and precise, good attention to detail.
Undertakes in-process and final checking of documents to ensure accuracy. Dispatch documentation to selected service providers and customers within exporting and importing country requirements and timeframes.
Experience in Africa Middle East region is beneficial.
Experience with the Trade Technologies Trade Finance platform advantageous but not essential.
Continuous Improvement
Ongoing review of market requirements for continual improvement with emphasis on market simplification and e-documentation.
Strive at improving the LC and document checking process through use of check lists, Trade Technologies platform.
Monitor and control spend where necessary to keep export documentation costs to a minimum.
Regular maintenance of accurate customer master data records enabling seamless and timely despatch of customer documents.
Key Requirements:
3+ years' experience in export documentation ideally in FMCG Knowledge and experience of ERP packages.
Proven capacity to adopt and promote a teamwork style within departments and across the organisation. Strong attention to detail.
Analytical skills, process-oriented focus.
Disciplined in the execution of plans and schedules.
Very good communications skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of certification and/or legalisation of documents through various governmental / local agencies. Knowledge dealing with regulatory bodies eg. DAFM, RPII & Independent Inspection Agencies eg, BV and SGS.
Considerable deep-sea freight and letter of credit knowledge. Proven ability to work effectively in a corporate culture.
Demonstrated ability to work positively work in a changing environment.

U.S. Import Export Compliance (USIEC) is responsible for international trade compliance oversight for all functional areas and business units of Eli Lilly and Company in the United States, Puerto Rico, and OUS sites for activities covered by U.S. Import Export and Trade laws and regulations. The team ensures adequate awareness of U.S. trade compliance issues by providing timely updates of regulatory changes and appropriate tools to all functional areas subject to U.S. regulatory jurisdiction. Responsibility Statement
As a member of the USIEC team, this role is accountable for supporting daily import operations and ensuring compliance with relevant import regulations. Responsibilities include collaborating with business partners, providing guidance to stakeholders on transactions, and liaising with customs brokers and other business partners to address customs and other partnering agencies (e.g. FDA) regulatory requirements within U.S. import processes. This position will manage technical trade compliance tasks and coordinate with various departments—including supply chain, legal, finance, customer service, IT, R&D, manufacturing, procurement—as well as external customs brokers and service providers. A successful candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of U.S. regulations governing international trade compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily import operations, including engaging internal stakeholders, external business partners, and customs brokers to support the regulatory aspects of U.S. import compliance. Perform technical activities supporting import customs and trade compliance including HTS classification, valuation, origin, import customs/compliance assessments, and support of customs filing processes.
- Manage broker relationship and responsibilities to support US customs import entries and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) processes.
- Manage ACE FDA import entry codes.
- Manage import compliance and customs using SAP S4, SAP GTS, and non-SAP processes.
- Support duty savings initiatives.
- Conduct customs post-entry checks, entry file reconciliation, and assist in transaction testing and interviews during formal audits and assessments.
- Develop and revise procedures, job aids, and training materials.
- Execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance USIEC's import program. Identify areas of opportunity and implement improvements to processes, procedures, systems, and governance prioritizing items identified as higher risk or in need of improvement.
- Implement automation and other process efficiencies to streamline and reduce the inherent risk of manual import customs and compliance operations.

Requirements - Skills, Education, Experience
+ At least two years' professional experience in a trade compliance position
+ Significant hands-on experience managing international trade compliance matters
+ Comprehensive understanding of European Union laws and regulations
+ Strong project management skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and related computer applications
+ Proven ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders to collect information and coordinate projects, ensuring customer needs are met proactively
+ Demonstrated skill in developing performance metrics and assessing both internal operations and external service providers
+ Ability to work effectively under pressure, solve problems, and support teams in meeting or exceeding customer deadlines

Job Description
The Global Compliance Lead is responsible for the successful delivery of the outsourced services, team and people management, client stakeholder engagement and process and project management. The successful candidate should have strong understanding of Corporate Tax, Legal Entity set ups, Asset Management and be able to manage buy/sell transactions, Irrevocable letters of credit, Temp Imports and Carnet creation/mgmt. with a working knowledge of dangerous goods, dual use and encrypted technology
**Role & Responsibilities**
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, providing expert advice on customs compliance, classification, valuation, and documentation requirements
+ Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements
+ Develop and implement efficient processes to ensure shipments are managed against appropriate timelines and expectations
+ Monitor changes in customs regulations and industry trends and support updates of internal policies and procedures accordingly
+ Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to compliance standards
+ Collaborate with internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and legal, to streamline processes and resolve issues effectively
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and other relevant stakeholders
+ Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their knowledge and skills in customs brokerage operations
+ Monitor team workload and identify opportunities for automation and productivity improvements
+ Work closely with cross-functional team members to identify knowledge, reporting or process gaps and create and drive improvement initiatives

**Experience / Skills**
+ Have a university degree in a business-related discipline, ideally in law, commercial, engineering or economics.
+ In-depth knowledge of export/ import laws and regulations, working in all geographies
+ Good years of experience in the domain of customs/global trade (export, customs and/or trade compliance); experience in technology and manufacturing and/or BPO preferred.
+ Operational experience in export/import operations and risk management.
+ People Management experience across different geographies
+ Strong project management skills and experience and technological savviness
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to operate and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business.
+ Comfortable with a rapidly changing environment and with strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
+ Able to work independently, motivated, proactive attitude with a passion for learning and creative problem solving
+ Proven service delivery and client stakeholder management skills and experience
