We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Facilities Maintenance Worker, based at our Enable Ireland CH01 - Cavan Services Contract Type: Permanent Full Time Contract Hours: 39 hrs per week Salary Scale: The current salary scale for this post is €31,329 to €34,832 pro rata per annum. This pay scale is subject to increases in 2025 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations Annual Leave: Annual leave entitlement is 30 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service. Overview of the Post: The Facilities Maintenance Worker will be responsible for the general maintenance and repairs of the building, the hydrotherapy pool, plant room areas and grounds at Enable Ireland Cavan Services. They will also provide pool attendant duties for which specific training will be provided if required. This role is to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities to a high standard, in compliance with Health & Safety legislation and protocols Overview of Duties & Responsibilities Please see Job Description for full list The successful candidate will have: Essential Criteria: 3 years' experience working in a similar role Have a background in maintenance or building services Excellent written, numeric and verbal skills Good IT Skills with experience of using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel (or similar); email Be eligible to work in the state Full Drivers Licence with access to own transport Desirable Criteria: Trades qualification, e.g. carpentry, plumbing, electrical.
