You will join a team of data scientists and data analysts who?are responsible for?building the pricing engine on our pricing platform. We build algorithms that find the optimal combination of prices to achieve multiple targets, given multiple constraints and uncertain future outcomes. As a **Data Scientist -Financial Modeling** **,** you will apply your expertise and skills to develop new pricing logic and algorithms to get more pricing done through our pricing engine as your primary goal. In support of this goal, you will be conducting research and analysis, prototyping solutions, and collaborating with the team.

**Required Qualifications:** ?
+ Bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering, data science, computer science or a related field
+ Programming experience with Python and SQL
+ Proven hands-on experience in Financial Modeling
+ Experience with data analysis and problem solving
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience with production system change delivery methods and techniques including experience working with the Agile delivery framework, deployment practices, version control and testing practices
+ Knowledge of optimization and prediction model development
+ Experience with Azure analytics solutions

**Job Summary:** Senior Lead, Risk Management and Controls will be responsible for identifying relevant, regulated accounts and onboarding them to our regulatory compliance program. This role involves participating and coordinating governance activities across first, second, and third lines of defense functions ensuring an integrated approach to compliance. Additionally, the role includes performing regular reviews and controls assessments to identify improvements and track progress as well as playing a key role in regulator examinations. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in risk management, communication and IT security control frameworks.
**Key Responsibilities** **:**
+ Account Identification: Identify relevant, regulated customers, using automation where possible, and provide guidance to those account teams in the onboarding process.
+ Governance: Establish, participate and coordinate governance activities across first (Delivery/Accounts), Second (Security Assurance, Business Controls), and Third (Corporate Audit) lines of defense driving alignment and establishing best practices.
+ Reviews and Controls Assessments: Perform regular reviews of governance/risk activities (MSAC, QCM, SOC) as well as ICT security controls assessments. Design improvements where appropriate and track implementation.
+ Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
+ ICT Security Controls: Leverage knowledge of ICT security control frameworks to enhance security measures on regulated accounts and infrastructure.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders (BC, CAS, CISO, S&R, Delivery) on cohesive risk management practices.
+ Reporting: Develop, prepare and present appropriate compliance metrics and reporting to senior management and exam teams.
**Who You Are**
Qualifications/Skills:
+ Strong understanding of ICT security control frameworks (NIST; ISO 27002)
+ Excellent analytical, and communication skills.
+ 7+ years experience with corporate governance and related activities.
+ Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Certifications/experience:
+ Project Management Professional (PMP)

Reporting to the Manager for Group FP&A the successful candidate would join a team providing business partnering, budgeting/actuals reporting and forecasting services to key stakeholders. The role requires someone who is highly organised, has strong attention to detail and is naturally curious. It would suit somebody who has a proactive approach to improving processes and developing new ways of reporting. It is an exciting to time to join the team as we build out the Group's FP&A strategy, the successful candidate will be closely involved in implementing these changes in the team.
What you will help us to achieveMain responsibilities will include:
- Produce key financial deliverables which include the annual budget process and monthly and quarterly results.
- Work closely with and influence senior stakeholders. Use an analytical data-driven approach to provide insight and challenge to drive business performance and value.
- Develop key working relationships with divisional finance and actuarial teams including liaising with auditors as required.
- Support process improvement initiatives targeting best in class reporting through automation, finance system improvements and data accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with group risk & control policies, regulatory, professional, and legal requirements.
The ideal candidate will have/will be:
- Part/Newly Qualified account - ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Previous FP&A or Business Partnering experience desirable, experience in Insurance/ Financial Services and/or in a Group Reporting role would be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of financial systems, including strong applied MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with SAP and Oracle EPM an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Working knowledge of data visualisation tools such as power BI an advantage.
- A desire to improve processes and comfortable in a changing environment.
