**About the Role:**
To carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building fabric, systems and
equipment in accordance with agreed service levels, and respond to site emergencies, tenant
concerns or any tasks as identified by superior.
NOTE - Annualised hours contract
Undertake small installation works, repairs to building fabric, and handyman duties.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all building fabric, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements.
+ Carry out various fabric and grounds duties including but not limited to - general fabric repairs, general carpentry, painting and floor repairs.
+ To ensure all relevant maintenance records are kept to a comprehensive and high standard and all reactive Work Order paper work is completed.
+ Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the site.
+ Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices
+ To develop a good working relationship with all members of CBRE staff, client's staff and estate tenants.
+ Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with al company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required.
+ Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients, tenants and visitors, and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.

The Company The Galco Group is the largest provider of Hot Dip Galvanizing in Ireland with 6 Plants on 5 sites throughout the country. We currently wish to recruit General Operators for our Waterford Site at Gracedieu Road, Waterford. There is two positions available, one day shift and one evening shift. Both positions are full-time. Role As a General Operator you will be required to work shift either on Days or Evenings. Galvanizing is a labour-intensive industry which involves the manual handling of steel throughout the Galvanizing process. Experience in construction or the steel industry would be an advantage. The Packing Operative is responsible for ensuring the efficient inspection and packing of Company products in accordance with health and safety regulations and Company operating procedures and work instructions, thereby ensuring that all products are packed to a high standard before being delivered to customers. This position operates over a 12-hour shift rotation. Reporting to shift Supervisor Factory Operatives onsite are responsible for; Following all standard and safety operating procedures at all times onsite. Ensuring efficient unloading, tipping, washing and reloading of containers onto trucks. Maintaining housekeeping and cleaning in the factory and yard.
