**Team/Role Overview:**
Citi is seeking a highly experienced and driven Director to drive the Portfolio Management of our Payments Modernisation strategy, globally. This critical role will manage a $50MM Book of Work that is focused on the execution of the OnePay Modernisation program, collaborating with business, technology, and operations partners to transform our payments landscape.

**What you'll do:**
**Strategic Leadership:**
+ Define and develop the Core Modernisation roadmap for Payments Modernisation within the assigned clusters, aligning with the overall Services business strategy.
+ Working closely with the Product Design and Execution Leads globally, conduct thorough market analysis, identifying opportunities and customer needs to inform regional market strategies and solutions.
+ Collaborate with OnePay Design Leads and cross-functional teams to determine the optimal approach for implementing the functional strategy. Own the 3-5-year product portfolio roadmap, leveraging company-wide assets and driving necessary resource allocation.
+ Develop and execute a "test and learn" roadmap to validate product portfolio decisions.
+ Explore innovative ideas and solutions beyond the current product/service offering.
**Execution & Delivery:**
+ Translate strategic goals into actionable product requirements and user stories.
+ Prioritise and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands.
+ Partner closely with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and validation. Conduct gap analysis between current and future state product offerings, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
+ Proactively identify and resolve cross-project dependencies and roadblocks.
+ Analyse, manage, iterate, and track the performance of features post-launch, optimising for user experience and business impact.
+ Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
**Team & Stakeholder Management:**
+ Lead and mentor multiple teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
+ Manage all aspects of team performance, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, compensation, and disciplinary actions.
+ Oversee budget planning and allocation for the Payments Modernisation program.
+ Effectively communicate and negotiate with internal stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
+ Build strong relationships with external partners and vendors as needed.
+ Effectively influence and align stakeholders across different functions and departments.
**Risk Management & Compliance:**
+ Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations related to payments and data privacy.
+ Proactively identify and mitigate risks, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
+ Promote a strong culture of compliance and ethical conduct within the team.
**What we'll need from you:**
+ Significant relevant experience, including being established in a managerial capacity.
+ Proven track record of success in the payments industry, with a deep understanding of ISO messaging standards and competitive landscape.
+ Experience working in a regulated environment with a focus on privacy and security.
+ Experience with AI and ML technologies is highly desirable.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams through organisational and cultural change.
+ Expertise in Design Thinking methodology and practical experience applying it to product development.
+ Strong understanding of consumer product development and a passion for emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
People manager of Scientists and Engineers who support device development for Injectables, Respiratory and Transdermal combination products
Build and expand team with responsibility for hiring new positions to support new technologies and programs within the Injectables, Respiratory and Transdermal portfolio.
Lead a team who support device development by generating the critical evidence that demonstrates to regulatory agencies that the combination product is safe, effective, reliable and fulfills regulatory requirements.
Responsible for technical interface between drug product and device teams during combination product development on elements such as primary container interface and compatibility, exhibit batch manufacture and stability studies
Lead and provide technical oversight to a team responsible for design verification, stability, biological evaluation, extractables, and transport & shipping studies.
Responsible for leading a technical team during regulatory and notified body inspections by representing the team in front of auditors and ensuring audit readiness.
Overall responsible for method development, approval of method validations and test protocols and reports.
Technical oversight of team responsible for the development of design requirements and combination product specifications based on characterization of comparator products, regulatory requirements, design intent and user requirements.
Provide technical support to manufacturing sites during filling and assembly process development. Responsible for designing experiments and manufacturing trials to identify process controls, reliability requirements, sampling plans and release specifications.

Job Description
Technical Product Manager, Global API - ABC
As a Product Manager for ABC's API platform, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our API ecosystem. This position resides within the Operators team, which manages the customer experience for our major clients and facilitates integrations with customers and partners through our APIs. The ABC API enhances in-club experiences and empowers partners to innovate on top of ABC's platform. As one of ABC's highest-demand products, our API platform is scaling globally, and you will be responsible for managing its growth, defining strategy and roadmap, and driving execution. You will operate the API products as a business, ensuring they scale effectively across diverse international markets and align with our mission to deliver exceptional value to clients and partners.
What you'll do
- Deeply understand the needs of clients, partners, developers, and internal stakeholders who rely on our APIs.
- Conduct user research, gather feedback, and analyze usage data to identify pain points and opportunities.
- Translate technical and business requirements into clear problem statements and hypotheses.
- Define and prioritize API product features and enhancements with a focus on partner/customer experience, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and design teams to deliver high-quality APIs that are easy to use and well-documented.
- Comfortable in communicating with clients and partners on API capabilities.
- Develop and maintain product artifacts such as API standards, versioning strategies, and integration playbooks.
- Ensure seamless integration experiences for partners and clients by building robust, reliable, and performant APIs.
- Measure success through adoption metrics, developer satisfaction, and business impact.
- Drive continuous improvement by leveraging analytics, monitoring API performance, and incorporating feedback loops.
- Champion a platform mindset-enabling innovation by empowering third-party developers and internal teams to build on top of our APIs.
- Balance short-term delivery with long-term platform scalability and maintainability.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience or equivalent.
- Demonstrated success and execution track record in building and sustaining scalable products.
- Experience with APIs products.
- Strong technical knowledge in APIs.
- Know how to connect products in a business operation.
- Entrepreneurial experience with start-ups is a plus.
- Great interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication. You can collaborate and thrive in productive, healthy debate done with mutual respect and shared goals. You can make complex concepts accessible with clear communication.
- Proven track record of successful stakeholder management including driving product roadmaps, client communications, handling escalations, and advocating for ongoing investment in your product.
- Experience successfully building and operating products and services.
- Comfortable/Flexible to work with different time zones.
- Experience in the fitness industry and/or B2B SaaS is a plus.
