About Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at ESB For nearly 100 years, ESB has been dedicated to the communities we serve. You'll play a key role in advancing our CSR efforts, promoting inclusivity, and supporting ESB's goals of decarbonizing electricity, building resilient infrastructure, and empowering clients. Key Responsibilities Administrator for Electric Aid (ESB/Eirgrid's Staff Social Justice Fund): support the effective annual allocation of funds to a value of approximately €1million sustaining global humanitarian relief projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Administration for the Energy for Generation (EFG) Fund: Oversee the administration of ESB's CSR one million funds, supporting projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals in the Island of Ireland. CSR's Volunteering Programs: responsible for the administration and event management of CSR volunteering activities, including school volunteering initiatives such as "Time to Read", "Time to Count", "Skills at Work", and the "Future of Work" programs. Support Effective Governance: across all CSR practices in line with ESB governance requirements and the Charities Regulation Act of 2009 and 2024. Ensure Accurate Data Management and Reporting: Manage and distribute accurate data on CSR activities, including ElectricAid and EFG fund management reporting. Event Management: Support the planning and execution of CSR events, training, and activities. Team Support: Actively support wider initiatives within the CSR team. Experience and Qualifications Essential Minimum of 3 years' experience in a large organisation, with a proven record of delivery of results A digital mindset is essential to enable the adoption and optimisation of technology to support fund management, data analytics & reporting Strong interpersonal and communication skills Stakeholder management skills Desirable Third level qualification, preferably in Business, HR, IT, Marketing, or Social Studies Understanding of Financial Accounts Experience volunteering for charities Location This position will be at ESB Head Office 27 Fitzwilliam Street Dublin 2. The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least two anchor days per week.
