**Job Description**
**Supply Chain Specialist, Supply Chain**
The Senior Supply Chain Specialist will play a key role as part of the GSIUC Planning group within Materials Management department. He/She will support the function in playing a key role in executing the Supply Planning processes for the portfolio worked through GSIUC Operations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient scheduling of manufacturing operations, aligning production plans with inventory, quality and API availability. The successful candidate will work cross functionally with Manufacturing, Warehouse, API team, Quality and Global planning to ensure timely and compliant execution of production schedules. The role will also contribute to continuation of development of processes across the function.
The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge of supply chain management and ERP systems.
The successful candidate will be required to work across organizational, cultural and geographic boundaries to optimize company strategic results.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Partner with Operations teams to develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on the locked MPS
+ Responsible for maintaining control and hygiene of the frozen period
+ Collaborate closely with Manufacturing to align schedules with capacity and operational constraints
+ Coordinate with warehouse and API teams to ensure timely availability of API.
+ Liaise wih Quality to incorporate testing and release timelines into production plans
+ Update and communicate schedule changes to relevant stakeholders. Manage schedule breaks for the area.
+ Support planning team with data analysis and reporting as needed and responsible as backup scheduler to the primary packaging area.
+ Ensure compliance with GMP and other regulatory requirements. Manage any change controls, deviations or CAPAS as needed.
+ Responsible for the preparation of Product updates for & participation in Site, Regional & Global Sales & Execution forums.
+ Manage bulk shipments with all relevant stakeholders
+ Monitor, manage and report out on local and global KPIs relating to performance to plan, adherence, locked plan stability, and associated supply chain metrics. Proactively identify and resolve conflicts or delays.
+ Utilize data and available technology to derive actionable insights to drive efficiencies and cost management.
+ Lead the preparation and communication of complex 'current state' and 'future state' documents in line with continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Create business cases for identified process improvements and solutions
+ Use informal management skills to work with cross-functional groups and contractors to ensure successful and timely deliverables
**Experience & Qualifications:**
+ Primary degree in Business, Science or Engineering discipline. Master's degree and/or professional qualifications in supply chain management desired.
+ Lean/Six Sigma certification and APICS CPIM and CSCP certifications preferred
+ 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management with a proven track record in MPS, production planning or related roles.
+ Experience in pharmaceutical operations/cGMP environment highly desirable
+ Deep supply chain knowledge with an ability to identify and analyze and summarize business problems in the end to end context and pull the key stakeholders together to form cross functional responses.
+ Proficiency in Supply Chain planning software (e.g. SAP, Kinaxis RR)
+ Experience managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external business partners.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate to join our team on a 2-year programme within the Supply Chain function. During this time, the successful candidate will receive development and mentorship to support their on-the-job learning.
The Supply Chain function at Gilead Sciences Ireland Manufacturing spans two sites: the Manufacturing/Packaging facility in Cork and the Distribution Centre in Dublin. The Cork site includes sub-functions such as Planning, Purchasing, Labelling Operations, and Warehousing, while the Dublin site covers Distribution, Customer Services, and Logistics.

The Senior Manager, Sourcing is responsible to drive and implement sourcing strategies of a defined supplier portfolio across the organization enabling Stryker to achieve optimal business levels of service, quality and cost. + Management responsibilities include setting structure for the sourcing organization, identifying appropriate talent, developing job descriptions, objectives, key performance indicators and performance goals
+ Drive and implement sourcing strategies of defined supplier portfolio across the organization enabling Stryker to achieve optimal business levels of service, quality and cost
+ Sets the strategic direction for key supplier partners, aligned to Stryker's mission, global sourcing category strategies and customer / stakeholder needs.
+ This role serves as the leader / escalation path for supplier management issues within the Stryker network including resolving commercial implications related to Product Field Actions, quality issues, dispute resolutions, etc.
+ Supplier development in the areas of Quality, Service & Cost to ensure Stryker's day to day and long term needs are met.
+ Will be responsible for leading global sourcing projects and cross-functional initiatives. May also be expected to lead / perform strategic program management outside of sourcing organization.
+ The person in this position will be comfortable communicating across all levels of management including executive leadership level
**Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
+ Minimum of 10 years of / Sourcing / Procurement Supply chain experience preferably in medical devices or other highly regulated environment
+ Ability to identify, develop, and lead talented people
+ Ability to see the big picture, distill strategic objectives into a concrete plan for execution, influence others to build consensus behind shared goals, challenge the status quo, initiate tough conversations, and promote a culture of innovation.
