We are currently seeking a highly motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in Arklow, Co. Wicklow with two days per week outreach work in our Dublin services. Contract Type: Fixed term post for 2 years. Contract Hours: 37.5 hours per week (part time hours considered). Salary Scale: €54,209 - €64,461 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments). This pay scale is subject to increases in 2025 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations Annual Leave Entitlement: 34 days per annum (pro-rated for part time hours). Overview of the Post: This specialist role will encompass a major clinical focus, which comprises of assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care given to Service Owners and their families. The post holder will provide direct nursing care and support to Adult Day Services in the region in the areas of complex care and behaviours of concern. They will also provide clinical supervision to nursing staff across the region and at satellite sites as assigned, supporting up to date clinical practice, and develop and deliver bespoke and clinical training programmes as identified with service managers, assuring the competence of healthcare professionals and support staff. The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: A recognised validated University Degree or an equivalent qualification in General/RNID/ Paediatric Nursing/Clinical Nurse Specialist. Must be registered with An Bord Altranais (NMBI). Hold post graduate (level 9) nursing qualification. Hold qualification in the area of Behaviour Support. 2 years' experience of working in the area of challenging behaviour. Experience supporting staff to implement behaviour support plans. At least 5 years post qualification experience working frontline with individuals with disabilities and medical needs. Experience of facilitating training in some of the following areas: Medication Management, PEG feeding, MAPA training, Positive Behaviour Support, Epilepsy training, Train the Trainer Certified or equivalent certified Training qualification. Broad knowledge of Enable Ireland and the complexity of working in a large organisation. Demonstrate continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to their area of work. Practitioners must maintain live annual registration on the register of NMBI for duration of employment. Practitioners must confirm annual registration with NMBI to Enable Ireland. Social Worker - Mental Health Medforce are looking for a Social Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to individuals with mental health difficulties in the community, working as part of the multidisciplinary team in Wicklow. The role focuses on assessment, care planning, treatment, and recovery support in collaboration with service users, families, and the wider health and social care system. Key Responsibilities of Social Worker Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and risk assessments. Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with service users and the MDT. Deliver evidence-based interventions, including psychoeducation, medication management, and supportive counselling. Act as a keyworker for allocated clients and coordinate their care pathway. Support service users in managing symptoms, preventing relapse, and engaging with community resources. Participate in regular MDT meetings and contribute to case reviews. Promote recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care practices. Respond to crisis situations and participate in emergency interventions when needed. Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in line with HSE policies. Liaise with primary care, social services, housing, and voluntary agencies as appropriate. Requirements of Social Worker Degree in Social Work and CORU registered Post-registration experience in mental health (community experience preferred).
