**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Serve as primary point of contact for customer on data management deliverables
+ Manage multiple large studies or program of studies (possibly global)
+ Provide leadership and senior support to DTLs on multiple large global programs of global studies
+ Provide project management expertise working with customer data managers, key decision makers, and internal team members to manage continuous process improvements, issue escalation, workload projections, and provide technical expertise

+ Create and/or review and sign-off on all data management plan (DMP) documents
+ Manage service performance and provide leadership to identify root causes of issues and implement remedial actions
+ Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME)
+ Provide leadership and expertise in a specific CDM task or technology
+ Independently manage SOW/budget
+ Independently bring process improvements and solutions to the CDM team/CDM department
+ Lead a focus team or global or local best practice team
+ Provide review and expert opinion in developing, revising, and maintaining core operating procedures and work instructions
**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
+ Previous experience and proven competence in managing delivery of multiple global trials through full DM life-cycle (i.e. large trials of at least 1000 patients)
+ Demonstrated expert data management skills and advanced knowledge of the data management process (e.g., therapeutic area, extensive knowledge in DM processes, SAE reconciliation, external data vendor reconciliation)
+ Previous experience and proven competence in handling complex customer negotiations and bid defense meetings independently
+ Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, Anatomy, and/or Physiology
+ Knowledge of operating procedures and work instructions and the ability to apply them in practice
+ Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and relevant regulatory guidelines
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and teamwork skills

+ Around 7 years direct Data Management experience, including 5 or more years as a CDM project lead; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

**About the Role**

Provide guidance and support to colleagues and Service Providers on EHS requirements. + Ensure early investigation of events including ensuring thorough and robust "SMART" corrective and preventive measures are implemented.
+ Provide technical safety and environmental expertise and support to relevant Departments and personnel on site.
+ Support others for EHS risk management processes for relevant site areas and tasks.
+ Support the EHS Head to ensure that the site is compliant with EHS legislative, regulatory bodies and Corporate requirements.
+ Develop and deliver EHS training to the site as required.
+ Deputise for other members of the EHS team as required.
+ Participate in the site Emergency Response programme and support continuous improvement activities as required.
+ Ensure compliant at all times with GxP requirements onsite.

**What you bring to Takeda:**
+ Minimum Level 7 qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or an equivalent discipline.
+ 3+ years of EHS experience, ideally with exposure to pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical environments.
+ Strong pharmaceutical (small molecule/API) experience is highly preferable.

+ Design and develop data queries and programs through Python to create data sets and models for analyzing and interpreting key drivers of health care trends (i.e., medical cost, utilization, etc.)
+ Build and maintain user friendly and informative dashboards and summarizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders using relevant data visualization aids
+ Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, be detail-oriented and work independently as well as in groups

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in relevant field (data science, analytics, mathematics, economics, business, statistics, engineering, or finance) or equivalent experience
+ Intermediate (or higher) level of Proficiency in SQL
+ Experience programming statistical models, demonstrate understanding of different statistical methods and approaches
+ Experience working with technical and business professionals in a matrix environment
+ Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI, or similar (such as Looker, Tableau/Salesforce, Qlik)
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Advanced Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related quantitative discipline
+ Proficiency in Machine Learning and AI models and algorithms
+ Experience in Snowflake
+ Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing, priority driven environment
+ Experience in medical data including hospital, ancillary, and physician
+ Experienced working in a large global and virtual corporate environment
+ Intermediate level or higher Proficiency in analytic tools such as R, Python
