On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to join a care of the elderly facility in Wexford. Key Responsibilities Uphold care centre policies, best clinical practices, while identifying, and addressing areas of concern in collaboration with the Director of Nursing. Review and manage care plans for residents with clinical issues such as pressure ulcers, falls, or other health concerns, ensuring proper follow-up and action. Oversee medication management, including supervising staff, conducting medication audits, and coordinating with GPs and pharmacies for reviews. Provide guidance and supervision to Staff Nurses and Care Assistants, participating in training and development to maintain high standards of care. Conduct regular audits on clinical practices, hygiene standards, and documentation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Requirements Registered with the NMBI live register Previous management experience or training is beneficial. 2-3 years in a post registration position Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Sound decision-making ability. Self-motivated, with the ability to motivate others and work independently. Ability to foster a collaborative team environment. Results-oriented.
