What will I be doing?
  • Build and lead the EMEA account management organization across all major segments (VSB, SB, MM).

  • Define and execute the Account Management strategy, developing playbooks and territory plans that drive retention and expansion revenue.

  • Partner with global leadership on company-wide initiatives, representing the North America book of business in product roadmap discussions, pricing strategy, and more.

What skills do I need?
  • 12+ years of experience in technology sales, with 5+ years leading high performing account management teams
  • 5 years of closing experience in IC capacity (ideally MM+)
  • 5 years of first line management experience (ideal candidate will have both SMB and MM+ in a rapidly growing business)
  • 2 years of second line management experience (ideally leading teams of different segments or tierings)
  • Deep renewals experience, ideally running renewals businesses of 8 figures
  • Strong program management experience, proven ability to take strategic programs through ideation to launch
  • Proven track record of building and scaling teams across multiple segments/customer tiers
  • Strong operational mindset-skilled at building scalable processes and driving efficiency
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance immediate revenue goals with long-term market development and ecosystem building
  • Executive presence and communication skills suitable for engaging with C-level customers
  • Familiarity with Command of the Message and MEDDPICC (or similar) a plus

This role is integral to the efficient operation of the sales process, working closely with both the external sales team and internal departments. Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate and timely technical/commercial support to existing and potential customers. Prepare and issue quotations in response to inquiries. Assist customers with technical issues related to the Valve & Actuation product range. Ensure advice is up-to-date and resolves customer inquiries successfully. Work towards personal, departmental, and company KPIs. Improve and streamline processes to enhance efficiency. Follow ISO 9000 Quality and Health & Safety standards. Candidate Requirements: Experience in technical sales or relevant education in Mechanical, Process, Instrumentation, Electrical, or similar fields. Knowledge of process valves, actuation, pumps, and related products is a plus. Commitment to participate in the company's Training & Development program specific to the product portfolio. Strong commercial awareness and technical aptitude. Excellent communication, presentation, and IT skills (MS 365, ERP systems). Ability to assess customer needs and offer suitable solutions, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Strong attention to detail, coupled with technical speed and accuracy. **You Will**
+ Deliver the budgeted revenue for the accounts within the assigned account base.
+ Be a central point of responsibility for coordinating all client activities in the assigned account base on a peer selling basis
+ Work with customer and operational teams to align the delivery of services and our client's Business relationship with the strategic needs of the customer.
+ Expand the revenue stream, maximizing the financial return from these customers. Ensure that a holistic pipeline is developed within the customer base
+ Develop new business and revenue opportunities within the assigned base
+ Manage the peer level relationship between the customers and our client.

+ Coordinate administrative procedures and design ways to improve processes.

+ To utilize customer engagement and update CRM to grow our customer base
+ To work with third parties for all contract renewals
+ To support in protecting and explaining our core revenue
+ To support in delivering and exceeding revenue, mobile, ICT targets
+ To support on pipeline management and weekly sales reporting
+ To understand the customers' short, medium and long-term goals and strategic requirements to help our client to align our solutions and offerings to provide maximum value
+ Promote the 'brand' by exceeding customer expectation and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
+ To protect revenues with solutions applying other departments and expertise to maximize our return.
+ To ensure all forecasting and financial management is accurate and reflects the reality of the business with the customer.
**You Have**
+ Background in sales and support, ideally within Telecoms/ICT
+ Looked at ways to improve performance of the account team
+ Worked within a large organization and Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects, external customers and your team
+ Experience with more complex solution sales with combined products and services and selling to larger organizations.
+ Experience maintaining clean records of sales outreach and contacts in a CRM with reporting skills and ability to coordinate complex account relationships at senior level

Our client produces products and solutions for power utility companies internationally, and include Active Network Management solutions, Control solutions, RTU's, Protection, Metering and Communications. We have been retained to recruit a Technical Sales Support Engineer for the company's Dublin operation. This sales role covers direct sales to power utilities, and sales through contractors/integration partners in Ireland, and is predominately office based. Key Responsibilities: Sales of company products and solutions to Power Utilities and through contractors / system integrators in Ireland. Selling the full product portfolio. Achieving annual sales targets. Supporting the company's international business units by tendering of technical and commercial proposals Key Activities: Account Management: building and managing customer relationships and positioning the company for new opportunities. The sales cycle is typically six months to a year. Business Development. Technical sales of existing / new products and solutions into the Power Utility market and other sectors within UK and Ireland. Promotion & presentations of products, solutions and expertise. Tendering of technical and commercial proposals for both Ireland and export opportunities. Driving any necessary customer approvals and certifications required for new business. Pre-qualification for opportunities. Although this role is based at the company's Dublin office, travel within Ireland & Europe will be required for pursuing opportunities and attending meetings. Occasional travel to company export regions may also be required. Interested applicants should have: Experience in technical sales, or alternatively the successful candidate may be new to sales but with a good technical background. Typically, over two years experience in industry. Possibly an application engineering background in control and automation projects. This role is a great opportunity to develop both technical and commercial skills. Desirable: Experience in selling to power utilities, particularly automation equipment. Sales experience in any of the following: Active Network Management, Smart Grid Solutions, SCADA, Protection, Substation Automation, Distribution Automation, Renewable Energy or Communications. The ability to work at both the strategic and customer facing level is desirable Electrical Engineering qualification an advantage, not essential Must be able to demonstrate the ability to identify and develop sales opportunities and to market technical solutions and services. Some experience in producing technical and commercial proposals. Delivering to sales targets. A results-driven individual with determination to deliver whilst maintaining professional and technical standards. Sales driven and enthusiastic with a technical background. Product and solution training will be given. Good communication skills with the ability to influence others. The ability to identify and cultivate long-term business relationships.
