Role Overview

The Saviynt Identity Management Expert is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions using the Saviynt platform. This role focuses on technical configuration, rule creation, and integration to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient identity lifecycle management across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and customize Saviynt IGA modules, including Access Request, Certification, and Role Management.
  • Develop and maintain technical rules such as Access Rules, Risk Rules, SoD policies, and Entitlement Owner rules.
  • Create and manage Saviynt workflows for provisioning, approvals, and certifications.
  • Implement user provisioning and de-provisioning processes across multiple systems.
  • Define and manage birthright access policies and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Configure and maintain Saviynt connectors for on-prem and cloud applications.
  • Develop and manage custom connectors using REST APIs and scripting.
  • Implement and enforce SoD policies, risk-based access controls, and compliance frameworks.
  • Configure Saviynt Access Risk Analysis and Access Certification campaigns.
  • Build custom Saviynt rules for attribute-based access control and dynamic role assignments.
  • Automate identity lifecycle events using Saviynt's rule engine and workflows.
  • Configure Saviynt dashboards and analytics for access governance.
  • Generate compliance and audit reports using Saviynt reporting tools.
  • Resolve complex IAM issues related to Saviynt configurations, connectors, and workflows.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation and provide training to internal teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or Information Security.
  • Hands-on experience with Saviynt IGA platform, including rule creation and workflow design.
  • Strong understanding of IAM principles, identity lifecycle, and governance models.
  • Familiarity with IAM protocols: SAML, OAuth, SCIM, LDAP.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, and cloud identity solutions.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming (PowerShell, Java, Groovy, Python).
  • Knowledge of API integrations and RESTful services.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Saviynt custom rule development and Saviynt REST API.
  • Knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and ServiceNow.

We Ideally Need You To Have The Following

  • A relevant professional qualification such as CISSP, CISA or CISM is a strong advantage.
  • Relevant third-level qualification in a technical based subject such as Computer Science, Information / Cyber Security or Cyber Crime Prevention.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior IAM Platform Engineer to join our team to optimize the daily operations of our Identity and Access Management platforms. This role is pivotal in ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable identity services across the enterprise, covering areas such as Identity Life Cycle Management, Access Management, Privileged Access Management, Secrets Management, and PKI. The ideal candidate will bring technical depth, automation experience, and a service-oriented mindset.

What You'll Do:

  • Operate and maintain IAM platform including Okta, Entra, Active Directory, and SailPoint. Ensure uptime, performance, and compliance across all IAM services.
  • Manage user Identity lifecycle (Joiner / Mover / Leaver), role-based access controls (RBAC), and access request workflows.
  • Support and Administer PAM solutions like CyberArk and HashiCorp.
  • Manage Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including certificate issuance, renewal, and troubleshooting for internal/external systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex IAM issues including access delays, MFA failures, provisioning errors, system performance and network bottlenecks.
  • Drive problem management by identifying root cause of issues, implementing long term fixes, and contributing to system and process resilience.
  • Participate in and support on-call rotations for 24 x7 incident response, including weekends, and other off-hours as needed.
  • Identify and remediate IAM-related vulnerabilities in collaboration with InfoSec and risk teams.
  • Collaborate with teams in SCRUM / Agile and processes to deliver IAM Projects effectively and on schedule.
  • Create, update, and maintain metrics and reports to show progress and value of IAM program.
  • Ensure operational compliance with internal security policies and external regulations (e.g, SOX, HIPAA).
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, evidence and process insights.
  • Maintain and enhance standard operating procedures, ensuring they reflect current processes and controls.
  • Proven ability to train and mentor junior administrators, fostering their professional growth and enhancing team capabilities.

What We're Looking For:

Basic Qualification:

  • 7 years of experience in IAM platforms.
  • Strong understanding in IAM technologies such as Active Directory, Entra, IGA, RBAC, MFA, SSO, OAuth, SAML, PKI and PAM tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with compliance framework (SOX, HIPPA, etc.) and audit processes.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Industry certification such as CISSP, CISM or Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM).
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Experience in a regulated environment (Healthcare, Pharma or Financial Services)

Education:

  • Bachelor's in Finance, IT, Computer Science or related field required

  • Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft's Hybrid cloud architecture
  • Architecting and implementing solutions that meet the functional and non-functional requirements.
  • High degree of knowledge in identity management solutions specifically Entra ID, B2B to and B2C and associated identity security features

  • Develop and maintain operational procedures, driving improvements and automation where possible.
  • Strong implementation experience with Azure identity features toolsets such as but not limited to: Privileged Identity Management (PIM) – Entitlement management - Access Reviews - Conditional Access – Azure Policy -and related identity features.
  • Implementation experience following Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) best practices.
  • Knowledge and experience of IAM design and implementation across a multiple CSP (AZ/AWS/GCP) estate.
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk and compliance requirements.

  • Automation of identity and access management leveraging MS Graph -Logic Apps- PowerShell – Azure CLI, Azure Cloud Shell - AD PowerShell, ARM Templates, Infrastructure as Code
  • Deep knowledge & hands-on experience integrating and migrating on premises line of business applications and workloads to the Azure Identity platform with a deep understanding of identity protocols such as FIDO2/WebAuthn, SAML,OAuth, OpenID Connect and LDAP.
  • External identities: Entra ID administration experience in (B2B & B2C) environments. Securing Cross Tenant Access & external collaboration.
