**Job Summary:** Senior Lead, Risk Management and Controls will be responsible for identifying relevant, regulated accounts and onboarding them to our regulatory compliance program. This role involves participating and coordinating governance activities across first, second, and third lines of defense functions ensuring an integrated approach to compliance. Additionally, the role includes performing regular reviews and controls assessments to identify improvements and track progress as well as playing a key role in regulator examinations. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in risk management, communication and IT security control frameworks.
**Key Responsibilities** **:**
+ Account Identification: Identify relevant, regulated customers, using automation where possible, and provide guidance to those account teams in the onboarding process.
+ Governance: Establish, participate and coordinate governance activities across first (Delivery/Accounts), Second (Security Assurance, Business Controls), and Third (Corporate Audit) lines of defense driving alignment and establishing best practices.
+ Reviews and Controls Assessments: Perform regular reviews of governance/risk activities (MSAC, QCM, SOC) as well as ICT security controls assessments. Design improvements where appropriate and track implementation.
+ Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
+ ICT Security Controls: Leverage knowledge of ICT security control frameworks to enhance security measures on regulated accounts and infrastructure.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders (BC, CAS, CISO, S&R, Delivery) on cohesive risk management practices.
+ Reporting: Develop, prepare and present appropriate compliance metrics and reporting to senior management and exam teams.

+ 7+ years experience with corporate governance and related activities.

Qualifications & Experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the aviation sector, particularly in risk management for aircraft lessors.
Solid understanding of the airline and aircraft leasing industries.
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail; organized and dependable.
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, results-oriented global environment, demonstrating initiative while also collaborating effectively within a team.
Experience or strong willingness to learn programming languages geared towards financial modelling and data analysis, such as Python (pandas, NumPy, matplotlib) or SQL.
Interest in emerging technologies and their potential applications in aviation finance and portfolio risk management.
Flexibility and willingness to travel occasionally on short notice.

**EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES**
+ National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline. Relevant work experience advantageous but not essential or an equivalent combination of education and workexperience.

- Acting as sanitation support in the process of assessing and mitigating safety risk associated with construction and major maintenance.
- Collaborate/Coordinate with Facility Supervisor, Operations Leadership, Operations Associates and Site Cleaning staff to achieve desired Environmental Monitoring performance and Pest Control performance
- Evaluating facility sanitary conditions, assessing risk based on food safety and public health principles, prioritizing corrective actions, and verifying sanitation activities and validation testing
- Evaluating monthly environmental samples for monitoring of pathogenic organisms in plant, trending the results and developing corrective actions
- Conformance to master cleaning schedule and applicable cGMP guidelines, best practices and requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing all sanitation related training for sanitation and plant employees as needed;
- Ensures all safety requirements related to sanitation are met including proper
chemical storage, MSDS, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and procedures.
- Maintaining and writing detailed clean up procedures and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures for all plant equipment, driving towards reduced water and air usage.
**Education & Experience**
You will have BSc a in plant quality/food safety/Sanitation with a minimum of 3yrs experience in a similar role with demonstrated Leadership skills (direct or cross functionally leadership skills)
Certification as a Sanitarian and Pesticide Application is an advantage for this role
**Key Skills:**
- Understanding and application of microbiological principles with in depth food borne pathogen knowledge.
- Knowledge of HACCP, Sanitation principles and Food Safety Preventive Controls (FSPC)
- Understanding of the appropriate wet cleaning and dry cleaning methodology.
- Experience in successfully addressing environmental sanitation challenges in areas such as drains, floors, walls, roofs, and equipment.
- Proven leadership capabilities
- Project planning & execution experiences
- Process control knowledge
- Proven plant financial understanding
- Experience with working on Continuous Improvement Projects
- Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
**Accountability / Scope**
- The Food Safety Specialist works under the direct supervision of the Food Safety Manager. Position assists and with all phases of sanitation, pest control, microbiological and cleaning programs for the site. The decision-making process of this position is key to the ongoing compliance of the production operation, and to the quality and safety of the food products.
