(Hybrid County Louth/Open to Remote) The Role: Lead the transition of LAMP stack to a containerized platform. Manage high-availability infrastructure, ensuring uptime exceeds 99.95%. Implement and maintain container orchestration tools. Work with third parties to conduct penetration testing and apply security best practices to protect our infrastructure. Overview The IT Infrastructure Engineering Manager is responsible for maintaining the business's data centre infrastructure and working together with a managed service provider for Tirlns data centres and server infrastructure.

The role is responsible for overseeing the work performed and manage operational aspects of the managed service provider relationship.

Key Responsibilities Work closely with managed services provider to set up, configure, and maintain hardware and software components within the datacentre, such as servers, storage, and operating systems Oversee the central components of the Microsoft IT Infrastructure, such as Active Directory and related core IT infrastructure services, ensuring it is secure, available, performing optimally, and addressing any technical issues in a timely manner Oversee and direct managed service providersas they perform routine maintenance tasks and upgrades on central IT infrastructure, in line with Tirlns security policies and controls Ensure the datacentre and central IT Infrastructure complies with security standards and industry regulations, and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans as needed Work collaboratively with other IT teams and business stakeholders to support new initiatives and projects Participate in datacentre and central IT Infrastructure related incident management as required liaising with service management, the managed service partner and application teams Contribute to the Strategy development for Tirlans Central IT Infrastructure Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 8-10 years experience in Microsoft IT Infrastructure or similar Familiar with IT infrastructure services such as Microsoft Active Directory Proven experience working with managed service providers in managing datacentres and IT Infrastructure Knowledge of security standards and best practices, including ISO 27001 and NIST Familiar with virtualization technologies, such as VMware Technical knowledge of server hardware, operating systems and storage technologies Knowledge of data backup and disaster recovery processes Networking experience is advantageous Experience in working with Cloud Services desirable Strong verbal and written communication skills Proven analytical and problem-solving skills Strong team player with a growth mindset About us Through our expertise in research and development, customer insights, food safetyand state-of-the-art manufacturing we bring innovative food and nutrition solutions to a global market.
