The Crann Centre (a registered charity) based in Ovens, Cork, is a specialist community-based disability service for children, adults, and families, living with neuro-physical disabilities.
Cranns transformative 2 Generation (2Gen) Model of Care, delivers comprehensive, integrated health and social care supports across the lifespan, addressing key clinical issues and the broader social determinants of health. Our community-based team support better health & wellbeing outcomes and increased opportunities for participation in education, employment, and leisure for both children and adults, and their families.
We wish to recruit an
Interim Fundraising Manager
to cover a period of extended leave. The focus of this role will be to cultivate and manage a portfolio of donors, provide leadership for the fundraising team, support them to achieve their goals, and ensure the organisations income targets are met.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage the Crann Centres fundraising portfolio and support systems,
- Set and achieve income targets across all fundraising channels, in particular developing strategies to maximise unrestricted income.
- Lead and manage the team, providing support to achieve high performance that delivers agreed outcomes.
- Prepare progress reports for Chief Executive, Fundraising Sub-Committee and Board of Directors meetings and attend as required.
Corporate Partnerships
Managing the Crann Centres corporate partnerships and creating opportunities for multi-year strategic partnerships and support.
Community Fundraising
- Support the Community Fundraiser to plan, communicate and deliver the programme of Community Fundraising initiatives.
- Ensure all fundraising initiatives are evaluated and volunteers/ donors are supported and feel valued.
Individual Giving
- Support the development and implementation of our Individual Giving Programme and a donor stewardship programme.
Trusts and Foundations
- Manage a portfolio of Trust and Foundation prospects and donors to develop and maintain strong lasting partnerships.
- Lead ongoing research and an outreach to build new relationships and successful engagement.
- Together with our Grants Coordinator monitor opportunities, support the developments of winning applications for grant and effective engagement with grantors/funders.
Skills And Competencies
- Experience of leading the fundraising function and team
- A proven track record of managing the high value fundraising cycle, specifically corporates, major donors and trusts and foundations.
- Experienced people manager with a proven track record of motivating and empowering people to reach their potential and exceed goals.
- Knowledge of the Irish charity/voluntary sector market and the environment in which The Crann Centre operates.
- An understanding of fundraising performance metrics
- Experience in working with CRM fundraising databases preferably Salesforce.

The Children's Disability Network Manager (CDNM) is the Operational Line Manager for the Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT).
The Interim Occupational Therapist Manager will work in collaboration with CDNMs
in the Health Region and other Discipline Managers in CDNTS, Primary Care and CAMHS to ensure particular elements as set out in this Job Specification and that emerge as service priorities are progressed.
The Interim Occupational Therapist Manager (IOTM) is appointed to provide professional leadership, guidance, and support to Occupational Therapy staff within a multidisciplinary service model. Their service focuses on developing high-quality, integrated services for children with complex needs and their families, ensuring professional standards are maintained, and collaborating with other key services like Primary Care and CAMHS.
The IOTM will facilitate continuous quality improvement, manage clinical pathways, contribute to the development of policies and procedures, and provide support in managing issues such as referral intake, caseloads, and staff development.
The main focus of the role initially will be continuous improvement, clinical governance and service development and the role will report to the Kaizen Lead as part of the Kaizen Promotion Office. This is also an exciting opportunity for professional development with specific training provided to support you in this role in Lean methodology.

- Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU
- Have 5 years full time (or an aggregate of 5 years full time) post qualification clinical experience
- Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability, management, leadership and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
- Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued
