The function of the role is to provide services for the operation & maintenance of Dublin Airports Baggage Handling Systems and baggage control room. The role is shift based (24/7),12-hour shifts across a 4-week cycle. You will be working in a team of multi-skilled technicians and operatives in a fully cross skilled environment. The successful candidate will be supported to develop all the requisite skillsets to flourish as a highly skilled technician. Reporting to the relevant Asset Management Team Lead, at the core of this role is the provision of effective planned, reactive and emergency maintenance on various BHS assets, ensuring safe and efficient airport operations. ?Monitor and control the BHS via SCADA and other relevant control systems and software from within the Control Room. Investigate root cause of jams and stoppages and utilise systems to monitor inbound/outbound baggage operations across the terminals. Working in a multi-skilled environment support, operate and maintain all DAP assets as required. Ownership for the performance and uptime of the engineering systems & equipment assigned to the individual & team by delivering a comprehensive planned maintenance regime. Reactive maintenance and repairs on all assets within the Asset Management remit as directed by the Team Lead. Maintain a clean & healthy work environment in all asset areas (cleaning, vacuuming, removal of waste, used lamps, filters etc.). Produce and maintain comprehensive, timely, records and documentation to support asset performance metrics and ensure equipment/system availability targets are achieved. Demonstrate clear, concise and prompt communication skills on system issues both within Asset Management and when liaising with other internal/external stakeholders Utilisation of systems and technologies to enhance performance and record keeping. Use of CMMS for the generation and recording of all planned, reactive, and arising corrective works to include recording of timecards, escalations and full completion of appropriate workflows, to improve the performance of the systems reliability and internal processes. Safely & competently operate engineering related equipment as required. Promote, report on and participate in a positive H&S culture, across initiatives, audits, incident reporting and safety checks and actively challenge those who would negatively impact on H&S and quality standards. Provide support and participate in all continuous improvement projects and trials on behalf of asset management. Support Asset Management teams as required to familiarise, develop and upskill team competencies. Attend toolbox talks and safe work procedure briefings. Participate in completion, development & review of standards, documentation, reporting and work methods across Asset Management. Targets are built around call volume, appointment scheduling and product sales (alongside these targets comes an excellent monthly bonus structure) Maintain up to date records for our clients on Salesforce - including activity on leads and opportunities Dealing with clients in a professional and timely manner Lead generation through promotion of other Cornmarket products / services Performing tasks in a compliant manner to set procedures and prescribed scripts Completing various administration duties, such as data entry/logging and scanning Participate in team meetings, look for and suggest ways in which existing processes could improve Comply with quality control and regulatory requirements that are relevant to this role Maintain commercial awareness relevant to this role Skills & Knowledge Required Full or partial QFA desired but not required, willingness to work towards same as part of the MCC requirement essential Previous experience in dealing with customers over the phone Ability to upsell products A keen eye for detail and quality Excellent proven customer service skills Excellent verbal communication skills Proven track record in meeting and exceeding targets Strong customer focus and an ability to deal with the unexpected Strong IT Skills with good working knowledge of the MS office suite Knowledge of risk control & regulatory environment Commercial awareness What We Can Offer You?
