About the Role We are seeking an experienced Manager with a strong background in Enterprise Performance Management ('EPM') systems, ideally familiar with Tax Reporting and Provisioning, Transfer Pricing, and Intercompany recharges. Knowledge of Oracle EPM modules Tax Reporting (TRCS), Profitability and Cost Management (ePCM), Consolidation and Close (FCCS), Planning is highly desirable. Your role will entail gathering requirements (both tax/legal and business), analysing supply-chains and business processes to assess the required functional specifications, evaluating the current systems landscape and proposed future state in order to identify gaps and improvement areas, along with overseeing development/managing junior team members. You will also be expected to regularly update the practice/service line on any new development in technology functionalities or modules in future releases. To be successful in this role, you should be able to align the global Tax and Legal landscape with our clients business' activities and proposed wider business processes. You will also need to continually assess the tax technology landscape and development strategies to bring the most up to date solutions to our clients. You will also need to integrate with the wider client project team. This will involve an understanding of how the tax design interacts with other process flows and also the inter-personal skills to build the required relationships. Responsibilities Cultivate a unique blend of tax and technology skills through extensive opportunities, to play a crucial role in transforming clients' tax functions effectively; Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to the growth and development of our firm through networking, risk management, and support for new business proposals and presentations; Aid in bridging the technology knowledge and skills gap in tax departments by helping articulate the business value of technology as an enabler to our clients; Address business problems from inception to solution delivery, translating business requirements into tax technology solutions, project coordination and management, using specialist software for tax process automation and using various data visualization tools; Brainstorming and designing new innovative solutions for our clients using Gen AI, ERP, and other enterprise systems to solve real-time tax issues from the EU to OECD; Manage the development of new and implementation of existing technology solutions for our clients to drive efficiency and value for them through automation; Identify and research problems, driving their resolution through the preparation and presentation of well thought out proposed; Manage the creation of business deliverables such as process maps, requirement documents, roadmaps, data visualization dashboards using technologies such as PowerBi and Tableau, in addition to configured tax technology software solutions for our clients; Provide well-structured, clear, and precise deliverables with strong attention to detail; Cultivate strong trusted connections with our clients and your colleagues in various departments across the firm; Manage go-to-market, business development initiatives and Request for Proposals ('RfPs'); Provide supervision and guidance to development teams and manage junior resources/ team members; Manage diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution. About You A high level of self-motivation, energy, and drive for excellence; A proactive approach to work with the ability to learn to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment; Creative, problem-solving, and analytical skills; A desire to learn, flexibility and intellectual curiosity; The ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks and demonstrate resilience and hard work; A degree in Finance, Data Science or equivalent degree course; Proven experience in Tax and/or ERP technology solution architecture design; Previous project management and delivery experience; Ideally, have proven experience with Oracle modules, Enterprise Performance Management ('EPM'), Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management ('EPCM'), Tax Reporting Cloud Services ('TRCS'), Anaplan, Longview, One Stream, Board, SAP PAPM, Thomson Reuters or equivalent; Ideally, have proven experience with Tax Reporting and Provisioning, Transfer Pricing, and Intercompany Accounting and Ideally, strong understanding of transfer pricing legislation and methodologies. Role Detail We are looking for an innovative and driven tax technology solution Manager to lead, promote, design, develop and implement E-Invoicing solutions that meet tax business and regulatory requirements, along with ensuring that our clients' can keep pace with the volume of E-Invoicing mandates on the horizon. We are seeking an experienced Manager with a strong background in Enterprise Resource Planning ('ERP') systems e.g. (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and familiar with Indirect Tax. Experience of API integration is important and being able to integrate the data flows between the ERP and 3rd party E-Invoicing platforms is essential. Your role will entail gathering requirements (both tax/legal and business), analysing supply-chains and business processes to assess the required functional specifications, evaluating the current systems landscape and proposed future state in order to identify gaps and improvement areas, along with overseeing development/coaching junior team members. You will also be expected to regularly update the practice/service line on any new development in technology in the area of E-Invoicing. To be successful in this role, you should be able to align the global Tax and Legal landscape with our client's business activities and proposed wider business processes. You will also need to continually assess the tax technology landscape and development strategies to bring the most up to date solutions to our clients. Responsibilities Work with client's business, functional and technical teams to gather requirements and implement API based E-Invoicing solutions. Work with clients to complete solution design, documenting all configuration details and other information needed to support an E-Invoicing solution implementation. Analyse the structure of the client's data files and map their fields/data to the E-Invoicing vendor's internal data structure. Implement and maintain secure, scalable, and efficient API based E-Invoicing solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner. Document integration processes, technical specifications, and user guides. Carry out solution integration testing of end-to-end transactions (SIT) and fix issues. Deploy solutions to production environment once Go Live criteria is met. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in API development and e-invoicing. Provide technical support and training to internal teams and clients as needed. Cultivate strong trusted connections with our clients and your colleagues in various departments across the firm. Manage go-to-market, business development initiatives and Request for Proposals ('RfPs'); Provide supervision and guidance to development teams and manage junior resources/ team members. About You Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field 4-5 years proven experience in API integration with experience integrating e-invoicing vendor solutions with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc.) Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Ability to understand code, as well as ability to analyse rules, conditions, and data mappings. Experience with API management tools and platforms (e.g., Postman). Knowledge of security standards and practices for API development. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) especially the AR Invoicing and accounts payable modules. Data Management: Proficiency in data migration, data mapping, and data validation techniques. E-Invoicing Standards: Familiarity with e-invoicing standards and formats (e.g., PEPPOL, UBL, EDIFACT) and regional e-invoicing regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to understand and communicate on complex challenges while working on solutions. Project Planning: Skills in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.   • 5+ years' experience working with Databricks, including Spark and Delta Lake
  • Strong skills in Python and/or Scala for data engineering tasks
  • Comfortable working with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to simplify complex data challenges
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and infrastructure-as-code tools

  • Proven experience managing and mentoring high-performing data engineering teams, driving collaboration, professional growth and successful project delivery
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Familiarity with data security, privacy, and compliance frameworks
  • Knowledge of data mesh, data fabric, or other emerging architecture patterns
  • Professional certification in Databricks

The team and the opportunity
Our Technology Strategy & Transformation team specialises in supporting our clients on business and digital enablement through technology strategy, architecture and advisory services. Technology Strategy & Transformation operates within a global and EMEIA network across EY and provides CTOs, CIOs, CXOs, and COOs with insight and services to support the derivation of business value from technology investments. Our services cover the entire spectrum from Strategy development to architecture and solution design through to execution.

As an Enterprise Architect (Senior Manager) you will be helping our clients to solve their business problems and to take advantage of opportunities in an ever-changing marketplace. You will be working with clients' stakeholders, leadership, and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the client's organisation strategy, business processes, applications, information, and technology assets. You will link the business mission, strategy, and processes of an organisation to its IT Strategy, and document this using multiple architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of an organisation will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner.

You will play a key role in supporting the development of new client relationships and strengthening existing ones. You will also help our clients, who are industry leaders, navigate the complexities of technology issues facing their businesses. Your key responsibilities

Within Technology Strategy & Transformation, you'll work as part of a multi-disciplinary and high-performing team of problem solvers with extensive experience helping organisations solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution across different industries and technology solutions such as Manufacturing 4.0, IoT, consumer goods, healthcare, agrifoods, and identity management, in one or more of the following areas:
  • Assist clients with the development and implementation of technology and digital strategies, and the delivery of Enterprise Architecture services and tool.
  • Lead medium to large projects/workstreams reporting directly to the client and become a reliable advisor.
  • Planning, execution and delivery of engagements including technology transformations and technology related services.
  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, and maintaining communication with team members and leadership on progress.
  • Build strong internal relationships within EY Technology Consulting and across our other service lines.
  • Contribute to the growth of the practice through development of relevant industry and technology Thought Leadership material.
  • Coach and mentor team members and provide performance feedback.
  • Ensure compliance to EY quality and risk management processes across projects and other interactions.
  • Preparation of bids/tenders and take lead on key elements of response.
Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of practical experience in delivering technology services including Technology/Digital Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, System Implementation and Agile Software Development.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME)/proficient in at least one Enterprise Architecture Domain (Applications, Data, Infrastructure, Security, Integration).
  • Experience in leadership/management roles including project management and managing teams.
Ideally, you will also have:
  • Experience within any of the following industries/sectors: Manufacturing, Retail and Consumer goods, Healthcare, Agri-foods, and Energy.
  • Experience in identifying client needs and the ability to reason logically and creatively to provide options and recommendations to resolve problems.
  • Knowledge ofb usiness and technology requirements to develop scalable application architectures and recommend courses of action to ensure technology is consistent, usable, secure and adds value to the business.
  • Experience in creating architecture standards, frameworks and best practices that help achieve business goals.
  • Ability to examine technology vision, opportunities and challenges, in addition to exploring emerging technologies and innovations.
  • Knowledge and e xperience in software development framework/methodology e.g. Agile, DevOps and cloud-based technology e.g Azure, AWS.
  • TOGAF, Scrum, ITIL, PMP, Prince2 certification, any domain specific certification, any technology vendor certification (Microsoft, AWS, Oracle etc) or management certification.
  • Ability to use abstract thinking to tie the dots from a technological/architectural standpoint.
  • Ability to build and maintain business relationships with vendors and partners, interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management and business development.
  • Proficient in using EA tool, office connectivity and productivity tools including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

As a power systems engineer, your objective is to support the delivery of solutions that improve grid planning, management, and operations.

Your key responsibilities

Specifically, the power systems engineer is expected to support existing grid operations whilst simulating scenarios to prepare and anticipate future energy transition challenges. We are looking for a candidate who has experience in traditional utility and distribution company power systems activities and is familiar with developments within the space that are impacted by and impact energy transition initiatives at utilities.

We expect the power systems engineer to perform activities including but not limited to:
  • Document and deliver power systems engineering functions, presenting future models and aligning to utility roadmaps and models
  • Identify, extract, and process grid model data from various sources and perform data manipulation to facilitate required studies and analysis. Assess, prepare, cleanse, migrate and provide the data as part of systems implementation projects
  • Create grid models and profile data that reflect various distribution scenarios given trends, forecasts, and future services
  • Model future grid scenarios using planning solutions. Perform power system studies, planning & analysis activities on client's distribution and transmission network
  • Enhance analysis to translate to insights using advanced data processing functionality including machine learning and/or AI applications. Validate data and results to identify required data quality enhancements
  • Perform grid analyses such as short circuit analysis, hosting capacity, feeder load management, and timeseries power flow utilizing distribution management software including but not limited to: Siemens, Schneider, GE, Oracle, OSI, and Hitachi solutions
  • Present findings of analyses to broad stakeholder groups translating engineering intelligence to business value
  • Document client processes, technologies, and systems to support identification of current and future utility grid systems
  • Report on progress of large scale data initiatives to business leadership and identify data quality metrics supporting overall utility data strategy initiatives
  • Consult utility technical and business leadership to anticipate future system, data, and organization needs within operational units. Collaborate with client leaders to develop roadmap, vision, objectives, and delivery plans for the future power systems engineering needs
Skills and attributes for success:
  • Experience working at or with distribution utilities. Proven technical work experience in energy operational systems, technology systems, and/or asset technologies
  • Technical competence and hands-on experience with power system studies/ network planning tools (ETAP, CYME, PSS SINCAL, Synergi, PSS/E, etc.)
  • Experience working with clients throughout various parts of implementation lifecycle for software and technology projects
  • Understanding of the impact of renewable energy integration on distribution networks, including the challenges and opportunities it presents for grid stability and power quality
  • Advanced analytical and data processing capabilities. Proven experience translating utility data and analysis to support grid operations.
  • Knowledge of network model standards and protocols in the utility sector, more generally in operational technology.
  • Familiarity with common information model CIM standard
  • Experience managing the preparation, design, build, and test phases of advanced distribution management system applications
  • An electrical engineering degree preferably with a power systems focus. Similar or comparable education and certifications can be considered
  • Ability to drive technical implementation projects to completion with the highest quality, regardless of team size or individual responsibilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when breaking down complex structures into digestible and relevant points for a diverse set of clients and colleagues at all levels

As the Ireland Consulting Service Line Operations Director, you will play a leadership role in driving business performance and supporting the implementation of our longer-term market leadership growth plans.

The role reports to the Ireland Head of Consulting and is a key role within the Consulting Leadership Team. The Operations Director has a primary role in driving business performance / profitability and leads the support & operational processes for the Service Line. These include planning, financial performance, resourcing, headcount/cost management and business improvement projects.

The Operations Director leads the Consulting Operations team and coordinates all aspects of the provision of operational services to the Service Line.

The Operations Director will also participate in the delivery of firm wide change projects in conjunction, where appropriate, with Global or Area Service Line initiatives.

You will be expected to demonstrate your ability to balance risk and opportunities, be able to see the bigger picture and have the capability to influence and lead in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support full business planning cycle - Growth Investment plans, Budgets, Service Delivery Model (SDM) /strategic workforce plans and MLOs / Reforecasts;
  • Closely monitor business performance and outlook: agreeing/driving interventions with the leadership at SL, Sub Service Line, Markets/Sector & Competency levels, working closely with their Operational teams to maximise performance;
  • Oversee SDM delivery including headcount management & recruitment, and initiatives aimed at optimising offshore/nearshore team deployment;
  • Pricing - assist in the development of pricing policies and contribute to the shaping of profitable sales working with SL, SSL and Market leadership;
  • Oversee engagement financials/margin and working capital performance, working closely with the Finance team, utilising Sub Area / Service Line initiatives as appropriate;
  • Lead the development & delivery of Consulting's Reward strategy, working with the CBS Reward and the Talent teams, covering pay level, VPS/bonus delivery and the annual pay review;
  • Indirect Cost management - ensure effective use of discretionary cash spend and appropriate input / influence around indirect spend in conjunction with CBS;
  • Lead other SL strategic and operational projects as required;
  • Member of Consulting's Management Team;
  • Provide leadership and coaching to the SL operations team and extended CBS supporting teams critical to delivering business performance; and
  • Build and maintain a network with peers cross SL / CBS and Region e.g. UKI Super Region Management Team, FSO and other UK&I Service lines.

To qualify for the role, you must have:
  • A bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in solution architecture, preferably within the financial services industry, demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Proficiency in modern technologies and architectural patterns.

The team and the opportunity

Our SAP practice is experiencing an exciting period of growth. We are interested in hearing from experienced SAP professionals who would like to take their careers to the next level.

EY's global SAP practice now totals more than 26,000+ dedicated SAP professionals in over 150 countries and we are investing heavily in S/4HANA, Ariba, IBP, SuccessFactors, Concur, GTS, SCP, Analytics, and other new SAP solutions. We are helping our clients to tackle their most difficult challenges by implementing SAP solutions that enable business transformation and deliver real value for our clients. We operate local and remote teams across multiple locations, we design and build global solutions with variations to meet local requirements, and we deploy these in ways that maximize value for our clients.

You will become key member of our SAP team. Your role will be focused primarily on the delivery of SAP services to one or more of our multiple large clients implementing SAP S/4HANA. Your secondary focus will be on support and broader practice development. In this role, you will help develop high-performing individuals and teams, leading and supporting them to deliver exceptional client services.

Your key responsibilities
  • Work with the SAP functional and business teams to scope and analyse the data migration requirements, including analysis of source system data structures and flows
  • Within the Data Workstream, serve as the go-to subject matter expert for master and transaction data areas including SAP Materials Management, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management (including EWM), Business Partners and other data objects
  • Design Migration strategy and implement the data migration framework as per data migration architecture using SAP Data Services (Enterprise edition) and SAP Migration Cockpit
  • Design and Document the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) routines maximizing the use of technology to achieve a high degree of automation in a performant way
  • Build, test, execute and manage the data migration routines and data cleansing and enrichment models
  • Design and Execute preload and post load data validation of migration results, handle error logs and advise on data cleansing requirements
  • Support the functional teams with the data reconciliation and reporting process
  • Perform migration mock cycles and rehearsals, plan and execute migration cutover tasks and lead post go-live support and defect handling
  • Create technical specification documents by utilising SAP functional knowledge, data migration experience and computer programming knowledge
  • Provide advisory services to the business to understand their data management issues and advise on appropriate data management strategies
  • Provide guidance to other systems analysts and client personnel assigned to the projects
Skills and attributes for success
  • Strong technical skills ranging from in depth knowledge of SAP modules, understanding of data governance frameworks, proficiency in data modelling and ETL processes
  • Project management skills including planning, execution, and monitoring of data management projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to identify areas of risk, carry out an effective review and know when to refer upwards
  • Experience in leading and mentoring teams, fostering a collaborative environment
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and professional networks
  • Outgoing with good relationship skills and the ability to deliver quality output
To qualify for the role, you must have
  • A third level qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline, or relevant experience related to the position
  • 7+ years' experience in SAP Data Management projects, with extensive hands-on experience in SAP data cleansing and migration tools in an internal or external client facing environment
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a consulting role
  • Strong experience in SAP Data Services, Information steward, HANA SQL, IDOCS, BAPI, LSMW and SAP Migration cockpit
  • Experience with, or demonstrable understanding of, S/4HANA best practice processes, key benefits, and implementation scenarios
  • Experience in developing migration strategies, data dictionaries, mapping specifications and data transformation guidelines
  • Expertise in migration of SAP Business Partners including CVI (Customer to Vendor Integration)
Ideally, you will also have
  • Experience in SAP MDG, SAP QM and SAP GTS
  • Experience in Power BI
  • Proven ability to build and leverage relationships with senior-level clients
