Your Role

The IT Analyst Internship provides the participants with a wide breadth of experience into all functions across the IT organization, including but not limited to:

  • Business Analysis – participating in internal customer requirements gathering and documentation
  • Project Management Analysis – assisting in project coordination (status reporting, scheduling, and coordinating project

    meetings)
    - IT Operations Analyst – participating in IT incidents and change management processes

What you will do
  • Preparing and reviewing customer global regulatory reports, including AIFMD, Form PF, CPOPQR, MiFID II
  • Onboarding new customers to the AQMetrics platform, including data mapping, data onboarding and product training
  • Mapping of customer data sources to the AQMetrics data interface
  • Assisting in the development of documentation, specifications and enhancements for the AQMetrics risk and regulatory platform
  • Monitoring ongoing changes to existing and emerging regulatory requirements, constantly improving our regulatory reporting knowledge base
  • Ensuring an efficient, streamlined, high quality filing process for AQMetrics customers
  • Providing exceptional service to our customers by responding to queries in a professional manner
  • Working closely with our product engineering team to provide customer feedback on the AQMetrics solution to ensure our product continues to be enhanced
What you will bring
  • Experience working with complex data feeds and creating transformation logic to ensure these data feeds are suitable for the AQMetrics systems.
  • Experience working with ETL based systems where data quality is key to the success of the
  • Experience building and debugging complex systems in a team environment.
  • Experience with version control software specifically Git and BitBucket.
  • Strong communication skills, a positive attitude.
  • Self-awareness and a desire to continually improve.
  • Excellent people skills to interact with colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • Relevant 3rd level Computer Science or relevant qualification.

This role will be based in our Model Farm Road - Cork site. Support CAE activates in the area of structural mechanics leveraging industry leading FEA tools together with hands on material and or product testing to validate the models and build confidence in the results generated. Tasks and responsibilities may include:

  • Support project activities through simulation and testing
  • Ensure quality of deliverables for self as well as the team
  • Perform simulations and develop critical insights regarding the product performance.
  • Contribute to capability building by identifying potential areas and developing capabilities.
  • Ensure simulations are meeting regulatory requirements by adopting ASME V&V40 guidelines.
  • Liaison with team members as well as stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and maintaining timelines
  • Extract and process test data/findings into both formal written and verbal reports which comply with FDA requirements and appropriate engineering standards
  • Comply with documentation procedures and maintain test laboratory housekeeping standards to the highest level
  • Effectively adapts to practically working in a workplace by being dependable, punctual, initiative-taking, hardworking, organised and a team-player

What you will need:

  • Good command over solid mechanics .
  • Understanding of material properties
  • Awareness and ideally experience with CAE packages such as SolidWorks, Ansys, ABAQUS, Altair Radioss and HyperMesh.
