Looking for a data focused technical product owner to drive a scrum team and support the architect and data engineering lead in analyzing new data sources for the team. As a Technical Product Owner, you will play an instrumental role as a liaison between our strategic business and technology teams. The Technical Product Owner will meet regularly with project teams to serve as a key resource on complex or critical issues, develop innovative approaches, and serve as a lead facilitator. In program/project teams, you will work to or help lead collective groups identify requirements, analyze and document solution options that satisfy those requirements, and ultimately gain consensus on a strategic commercial product roadmap to be implemented. The Technical Product Owner will track the product through detailed design, development, testing and implementation to ensure the successful deployment of the solution and roadmap.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Extensive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, data analysis, software design, or a combination of roles within the SDLC lifecycle
• Familiarity with various data technologies - Databricks, Snowflake
• Familiarity with a variety of data transfer approaches and a basic understanding of the advantages of each - message queues, APIs, Unity Catalog
• Data literate - able to write SQL queries and perform advanced data analysis is excel
• Experience leading scrum teams in a product owner capacity

ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM

As a Product Owner you will be is responsible for maximizing the business value in software products delivered by Agile Scrum Teams.

The PO has a strong technical and operational understanding of the product and, as this is primarily an 'internal facing' role, they work closely with their Product Manager to gain a clear understanding of the business problems customers need the product to solve, as well as the vision and strategic direction of the overall portfolio.

Role Purpose

The role defines functional designs through story elaboration and manages the detailed implementation as part of the Global product portfolio, which includes stories assigned by Product Management as part of the product roadmap.
