Technical Solutions Architect - €120K Per Anum Market Leading Insurance Company urgently a Senior Technical Solutions Architect Reporting to the Head of IT, the Senior Technical Solutions Architect will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Company IT Infrastructure including governance, risk and compliance. This role will primarily be focused on delivering secure & resilient, DORA compliant solutions in a hybrid environment utilizing primarily on-premise infrastructure (Nutanix, HPE Greenlake) alongside public cloud (Azure, M365) services. The Senior Solutions Architect will also have responsibility for managing the architecture Governance, Risk and Compliance requirements which apply to an architecture function in a regulated entity. The Senior Technical Solutions Architect Responsibilities of Role: * Creating deliverables including architecture diagrams and descriptions, solution blueprints and high and low-level solution designs for secure, scalable and reliable solution architectures and presenting solution designs to FBD's Design Authority. * Understanding end-to-end business and technical requirements and determining corresponding enterprise system designs and change requirements. * Work in a highly collaborative way with cross-functional teams on projects, providing support to project teams to ensure the project is aligned with the overall target enterprise architecture and target integration architecture. * Managing the delivery of architecture governance, risk and compliance (GRC) * Management of Company Design Authority * Delivery of compliance reporting, * Supporting IT risk management through risk identification & assessment, delivery of risk control self-assessments & devising risk metrics * Managing architecture governance artifacts including standards, principles & guidelines, * Driving improvements to existing architecture GRC processes, * Supporting regulatory and internal audits of IT practices & processes. Essential Candidate Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant experience. * Relevant architecture certification e.g. TOGAF certification, IASA Core Certification or equivalent). * Relevant technical certifications e.g. Nutanix, HPE, Azure) * 7 years + experience in operational topics with 3+ years as an architect/technical lead. * Hands-on experience of designing solutions for a hybrid environment, particularly with on-premise private cloud solutions such as Nutanix, HPE Greenlake. * Experience working with M365 or public cloud, particularly Microsoft Azure, including PaaS, SaaS, IaaS technologies strongly preferred. * Strong experience of architecture governance, compliance and risk management processes. * Strong knowledge of architectural patterns, IT standards and IT controls (including IT risk management). * Experience in the use of one or more architecture tools using Archimate. * Experience in dealing with both internal & external stakeholders, technical & non-technical. * Experience of working in the insurance industry or other regulated industry would be an advantage. Deep understanding ofMicrosoft 365 services and their integration into enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of architecture patterns, frameworks, standards, and IT controls.
