What’s the Opportunity
DoneDeal is on a mission to make car buying and selling simple . Increasing the number of car buyers who choose DoneDeal to find their next car is at the heart of that journey. This role is your opportunity to shape how we understand car buyers, improve product–market fit, and ultimately strengthen DoneDeal’s position as the No. 1 car marketplace in Ireland . You’ll help define what success looks like—and build the engine to deliver it.
We’re looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial, and data-driven operator who can see the full picture and lead the charge in growing car demand across our marketplace. This isn’t a traditional analyst role—it’s a chance to shape and drive how DoneDeal grows demand by connecting the dots across product, marketing, data engineering, and commercial levers. You won’t just surface insights; you’ll find opportunities, drive initiatives forward, influence roadmaps, and help extend our position as Ireland’s No. 1 car marketplace.
You’ll define and measure growth metrics, optimise conversion paths, and provide insights that directly advise strategic decisions. Working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing and Data teams, you'll ensure our initiatives are data-driven, actionable, and high impact.
Key Responsibilities
1.Demand Growth & Funnel Optimisation
Define and track KRs/KPIs to ensure progress in growing market share of leads as part of the OKR process.
Build, quantify, and continuously optimise the DoneDeal buyer funnel from acquisition to conversion by:
Measuring user volume at each funnel stage
Identifying blockers and friction points
Quantifying Return on Investment of improvement opportunities
Developing a simplified tracking framework usable across teams
2. Product Insights & Data-Driven Experimentation
Partner closely with Product teams to:
Measure the impact of new initiatives and features
Uncover insights that shape prioritisation and next steps
Suggest and run A/B tests to validate improvements
Develop compelling dashboards, reports, and visualisations that clearly communicate performance trends and opportunities.
Develop cases for product and feature ideas aimed at increasing demand.
3. Demand Forecasting & Market Analysis
Develop and maintain forecasts to guide investment decisions and anticipate demand shifts.
Analyse customer behaviour and external market signals to identify demand drivers.
Identify untapped market segments and propose actionable strategies for expansion.
4. Strategic Insight & Cross-Functional Enablement
Establish regular cross-functional cadences with Product, Marketing, Commercial, and Data teams to drive projects, surface blockers, and drive clarity on shared goals.
Work cross-functionally to translate insights into action and align stakeholders.
Advocate for and help embed a demand mentality across the organisation—making demand metrics a core part of product and commercial strategy discussions.
What You'll Own
The roadmap and framework for understanding and accelerating demand growth across DoneDeal.
The surfacing and championing of high-impact opportunities that can transform demand growth.
The buyer funnel strategy—from first touch to lead conversion—across product, marketing, and commercial levers.
The measurement and interpretation of performance for our most impactful demand-generating features.
Forecasting and strategic input to support executive decisions around demand-side investments.
What You’ll Need
6+ years in Business Analytics or Product Growth roles within a tech company.
Experience working across Product, CRM, and/or Marketing teams.
Deep comfort with SQL and BI tools like Tableau.
Strong skills in product analytics like Google Analytics, A/B testing, tracking, and tag management.
Exceptional business sense: you convert analysis into narratives and narratives into action.
You listen actively, ask the right questions, and influence others through insight and credibility.
Meticulous, with the instincts to spot anomalies or patterns quickly.
A forward-thinking approach with a results-focused attitude.
Fluency in data but obsessed with business outcomes —you want your work to drive real change, not just dashboards.
Ability to think strategically across the whole system—you connect product UX to marketing efficiency to commercial results.
Initiative—you chase opportunities, challenge assumptions, and bring others with you.
Ability to tell compelling stories with data and influence decisions at all levels.
You thrive in ambiguity and love being the one to bring clarity and structure.
