Role & Responsibilities

Transitional Leadership:

  • Lead the handover of waste management responsibilities from the construction contractor to Indaver during the commissioning phase.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition.

Waste Flow Management:

  • Manage and coordinate all waste movements on-site during the commissioning phase.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of waste stream processes, including line item reviews with relevant stakeholders
  • Set up and optimize waste flow collection points across the DS2 facility to support efficient and compliant waste segregation and disposal.

Operational Readiness:

Experience and Qualifications Required

The Opportunity

· Understanding the rules of golf relating to golf course maintenance.

· Understand how the Purchase Order system for procurement works.

· Be able to understand and track spend in relation to the annual budget.

You will provide therapy inputs to families, school teachers and school principals in the form of group sessions and workshops. The Role:

This is a new role in IMR's expanding Technology Innovation & Entrepreneurship Group. This is a pivotal role in driving IMR's spin-out agenda and supporting our client companies on their market evolution journeys. Reporting to IMR's Director of Technology Innovation & Entrepreneurship, you will utilize your skills to scout and assess opportunities, manage a pipeline & portfolio of entrepreneurial projects, and think creatively to expand and evolve opportunities to maximize their potential.

For this role, we are seeking a motivated, mid-career candidate with extensive experience in the start-up world, ideally someone who has served as a CEO and is eager to apply and share their learnings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute market engagement & scouting strategies to identify opportunities which can support spin-out development through IMR.
  • Manage a project pipeline, building a portfolio of potential spin-out projects and contributing to IMR's metrics and goals.
  • Identify candidate "spin-in" entrepreneurs & founders to generate high potential start-up teams.
  • Lead the collaborative development of compelling funding applications.
  • Manage the commercial maturation of Comms Fund projects, including overseeing and supporting the development of go-to-market strategies, business plans and founding teams leading to successful spin-out events.
  • Work with client companies in assessing new market opportunities and developing go-to-market strategies, enabling them to evolve their market positions.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

Required
Skills and Experience:

  • Master's degree in business or equivalent.
  • Proven leadership experience in start-up environments or related roles.
  • 4+ years in strategic consulting/coaching with early-stage entrepreneurs.
  • Project or Programme Management Qualification, e.g. Agile would be ideal.
  • Proven experience managing project pipelines & portfolios.
  • Proven experience building funded business plans.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in extracting and interpreting customer needs.
  • Experience operating in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
  • Experience developing successful Enterprise Ireland Comms Fund proposals is beneficial.
  • Experience with industrial clients and technology awareness.
  • A valid driver's license is essential. National travel is required, and candidates must be capable of travelling nationally by car.

Location:

IMR offices are located in Rathcoole, Co Dublin and Mullingar, Co Westmeath. This position is based in our Mullingar office. We offer a hybrid working model. Travel between offices and client sites will be required from time to time.

Salary & Benefits:

This position will command a package consisting of basic salary (€86,013 - €94,118 depending on qualifications and experience), employer pension contribution and 5 weeks holidays.

Your impact

As an innovative and recognised industry leading practitioner, in this newly created role you will play an integral part in supporting our vision to be a national and global leader in wastewater modelling. As the Capability Lead (Head of Discipline) for Wastewater Modelling within our 600 strong Water Resource Group, you will drive the quality and delivery of complex modelling solutions managed by our 75+ wastewater modellers based across our UK, Ireland and Global Delivery Centres.

You will leverage your leadership skills to ensure the continued growth and capability of your teams, creating a culture of opportunity and growth that supports personal and career development, embracing new technical capabilities that both meets and exceeds current and future client and market expectations - challenging the accepted.

Remit of your role will include

  • Partner with the Water Capability Director and the Water Chief Engineer, deliver project delivery excellence.
  • Create an environment where rigorous technical assurance governance is adhered to.
  • Collaborate with our wastewater modelling Regional Discipline Leads to provide key technical guidance on Jacobs appointed frameworks, contributing to the growth of the business through identifying, developing and delivering both existing and new workstreams and services
  • Lead the development of a clear vision and strategic direction for wastewater modelling.
  • Drive innovation by identifying and implementing advanced techniques, tools and practices enhancing efficiency and sustainability.
  • Develop working methods, routines and innovative approaches to improve processes in the delivery of wastewater network projects.
  • Be the technical verifier on all complex wastewater modelling projects
  • Manage systems to store, share, and apply modelling guidelines and practices effectively
  • Have a strategic overview of ongoing capability footprint and recruitment, so that key skills within your teams align with and exceed current and future client and market demands.
  • Develop clear career development routes and succession plans for the capability, including engagement with our Global Design Centres
  • Be a visible advocate for Jacobs Culture, leading a capability mindset focussed on Safety, our accelerators and initiatives, such as I&D and Agile Careers.

Here's what you'll need

  • Expert in InfoWorks ICM, Info Asset Manager and ArcGIS.
  • Experienced Wastewater Modelling practitioner with proven track record in successfully leading large teams
