The role would suit a recent law graduate with around 1 year's post qualification legal experience. The role provides a unique opportunity for the Legal Assistant to be exposed to a wide range of legal matters, both Irish and international across Bimeda's business.
Key responsibilities
As Legal Assistant with Bimeda you will:
- Assist with the preparation, drafting, review, issue and execution of NDAs.
- Be responsible for the collection of documentation to meet all KYC requirements of the business.
- Be responsible for the collating and proper maintenance of files (paper and electronic).
- Assist with ongoing projects in particular acquisitions and disposals.
- Assist in preparation of board packs, agendas, notarising and apostilling documents and the preparation of company secretarial documentation.
- Assist with maintaining intellectual property portfolio.
- Assist with insurance matters.
- Maintain and update master document lists and registers.
- Maintain corporate registers and internal company secretarial control sheets and manage and coordinate Irish and international corporate governance.
- Maintain master directorship listing and keep all company letterheads up to date.
- Maintain internal commercial property registers, patent and trademark registers.
- Maintain a register of commercial agreements.
- Maintain all template commercial agreements.
- Other ad hoc projects.
- Provide general administrative support to the Legal department.
- Liaise with third parties including: insurers; and external advisers, both Irish and international, legal and otherwise.
You will be required to work a minimum of 4 days per week in the office with the option of 1 day working remotely. This is a fixed term contract role.

The role combines senior executive support with legal administration, board support, and company secretarial coordination. Precision, confidentiality, and reliable execution are essential. - Diary, inbox, and appointment management for CEO and CLO; prioritise, gatekeep, and resolve conflicts.
