reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible to develop and refine product designs, bridging the gap between concept and deployment while achieving product cost targets. Utilize CAD and CAE software to create models, conduct research, and pre-production designs. Ensure products are functional, meet stakeholder requirements and are cost-effective. To be successful in this role the design engineer has a strong understanding of the products, raw materials, and technically competent the manufacturing process. This Role Is Responsible For
- Create and refine product designs from initial concept to product approval.
- Review Design Verification, Validation (DVP&R) test results and ensures the design and pre-series phases of the project.
- Identify design problems, anticipate production issues and make recommendations for improvement during the DFMEA and PFMEA process.
- Following the design for manufacturing methodology make sure that the product you're working on is designed in a way that makes it possible to build.
- Utilize specific CAD and CAE software to create models and update designs accordingly.

- Maintain records of designs, test results and other relevant information used to improve future product designs.
- Identify and resolve design issues throughout the product development lifecycle.
