We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Senior Loan Agency Specialist to join our team. This role is located in Dublin.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Responsible for managing an agency portfolio of syndicated and bilateral loans
- Manage daily administration of loan activities, to include facilitating loan advances, rollovers, payments, rate pricing, and fees
- Ensure that risks are appropriately identified and actively managed
- Manage external escalations resolving operational issues as appropriate
- Ability to read and interpret commercial loan agreements and documents, as necessary
- Assist in communicating needs and issues with internal teams and external clients
- Resolve loan related issues based on an understanding and knowledge of the intricacies of the loan system
- Use in-depth area knowledge to apply ingenuity and creativity to common repeat problems and determines more permanent resolutions
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Preferably degree education and/or industry qualifications
- 3+ years of directly related experience with syndicated loans and/or comparable commercial banking experience
- Experience with Loan IQ and ClearPar strongly preferred
- Prior experience acting as a subject matter expert and coordinating the work of others
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Home Buying sits within Retail Ireland who play an integral part in the development and implementation of the strategy for mortgage loans in the Republic of Ireland, to include all aspects of mortgage markets, risk profile, returns, costs, fulfilment, servicing and market positioning. Direct Mortgages is a Business Unit within Home Buying. We are responsible for the delivery of Mortgages via inbound/outbound phone lines and online applications. Our Direct Mortgage specialist team is made up of hard working and driven people.
After initial training this is a hybrid role, based primarily at Tallaght or Kilkenny. We typically ask colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in-person to support collaboration and connection. Specific arrangements will be confirmed by your recruiter to ensure they meet the needs of the role and team.
