Mechanical Maintenance Technician Co. Offaly Location: Offaly (Days Only) Salary: €55,000 An established manufacturing company in Co. Offaly is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their day-shift team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong mechanical background and a proactive approach to preventative and reactive maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Perform mechanical maintenance on production equipment and utilities. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns, minimising downtime. Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects. Work closely with production teams to ensure machine efficiency and reliability. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts usage. Comply with health & safety and company procedures at all times. Requirements: Time-served Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Technician or equivalent trade. 3+ years experience in a mechanical maintenance role (preferably manufacturing or production environment). Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, etc. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working on own initiative as well as part of a team. Good communication and documentation skills.
