About the Role:
As a CBRE Mechanical Sr. Technician, you'll use your advanced skills to maintain buildings systems, and equipment on an ongoing basis. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do:
+ Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems equipment, and facilities.
+ Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the building are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made. These reactive calls to also include concessionary stores and fabric related items.
+ Delivery of PPM to HTM and SFG standards
+ Install and modify of building equipment and systems.
+ To monitor and respond to BMS alarms
+ To carry out planned and corrective work generated on CMMS
+ To assist with the ordering of supplies as needed for work.
+ Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
+ Take a lead role in technical problems alongside operations manager and supervisor.
+ Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices at all times.

+ Ensure Computer Based Maintenance system, e.g CAFM Si, is kept up to date and that PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured
+ Ensure documentation of maintenance activities is to industry standards where necessary.
+ To be flexible and assist the Maintenance team in any role required by the business.
+ The post holder will follow safe systems of work, taking reasonable care of their own health and safety, and that of others. Eliminating or reducing risks where practicable by complying with site safety rules and instructions and reporting hazards to management for prompt action.
+ To work on small projects to improve system performance and reliability.
+ Review assigned work orders and estimate time and materials needed to complete repairs; utilize available systems to manage work orders and track completion.
+ Ensure energy management systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
+ Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
+ Maintain inventory of parts, tools and items needed to complete work orders. Submit purchase orders to management for approval when supplies run low.
+ Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
+ Lead by example and model behaviours that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
+ Impact the quality of own work.
+ Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
+ Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
What You'll Need:
+ Time served mechanical or plumbing apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years' experience
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
+ Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
+ Experience of using CMMS or CAFM systems
+ Strong knowledge of BMS systems
+ Strong knowledge of other services (L8, LTHW, Heating systems, PU units, MCC panels, HVAC)
+ AP qualifications ideal
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
+ Experience in a healthcare environment would be a distinct advantage

**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Data Center Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a Data Center operation.
This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Assist with daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance.
+ Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
+ React to Building Management System alarms, and complete emergency repairs as needed.
+ Work with third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.
+ Alert management if subcontractor performance doesn't meet all requirements per the Master Service Agreement.
+ Complete planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipment.
+ Check BMS for running and alarm conditions and respond to HVAC-related client problems.
+ Building walkthroughs, taking meter readings from UPS, PDU's and utilities.
+ Provide fixes to facility and plant faults and defects.
+ Complete assigned work according to established processes and procedures. Follow all safety processes and requirements and ensure all regulatory requirements and quality standards are met. Conduct routine quality checks for comprehensive maintenance records.
+ Complete all required training to ensure successful completion of all job-related responsibilities.
+ Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
+ Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
+ Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
**What You'll Need:**
+ Training in a Technical discipline having served an apprenticeship or equivalent with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Ability to work shifts that may include weekends and holidays
+ Must be able to Meet the physical requirements of this role.
+ To effectively present information to an internal department, client, management and/or colleagues.
+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
+ Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
