Support of new product introductions and introduction of new equipment Responsible and accountable for the safe accomplishment of activities to all statutory, environmental, regulatory (cGMP), corporate site and department practices and procedures. Inputting into equipment design, construction, commissioning and qualification activities. Providing technical assistance to maintenance personnel and other departments as required. Developing maintenance procedures and equipment files. Assisting with generation, review and revision of maintenance documentation as necessary. Developing and managing the critical equipment list. Analyzing equipment data to report on equipment performance. Developing, Standardising and Implementing the latest maintenance approaches and techniques Developing a root cause failure analysis system. Engineering out re-occuring equipment problems. Supporting investigation and resolution of problems. Be familiar with daily activities in all areas of Maintenance department. Deputize for Maintenance Manager as necessary. Rotate with other positions in the department, as required. Facilitate an environment of continuous improvement. Lead investigations in work area as necessary. Interface with Manufacturing department (Supervisor, Manager and Director level). Contact with Quality, Logistics and Training departments Qualifications A Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Process Engineering. Reliability and/or Maintenance experience within a process or pharmaceutical cGMP regulated environment. Experience of best practices in preventive maintenance, condition monitoring, maintenance planning, reliability engineering, RCM or FMECA. Experience of Delta V, PLC, SCADA and SAP systems

**Main responsibilities:**

+ Maintain the required standard of housekeeping in both the maintenance workshop/facilities area.
+ Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
+ Ensure good time keeping and attendance at place of work.
+ Support team in achieving team goals and targets.
+ Attend Team meetings as required.
+ Actively contribute to continuous improvements across the plant.
+ Support and back up of all maintenance teams i.e. facilities and manufacturing when required.
+ Ensure correct and accurate communication of equipment issues/PMs/repairs including reporting of serious downtime (via email).
+ Ensure compliance to cGMP at all times.

+ Full understanding of Health & Safety and legal requirements for the safe operation of the team
