What You'll Do:
- Partner with the sales team to articulate the overall Datadog value proposition, vision and strategy to customers
- Continually learn new technology to build competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility
- Deliver product and technical presentations with potential clients
- Have a direct line of communication with the product team to collaborate on feature requests
- Help clients onboard the product and assist when they run into roadblocks.

Who You Are:

- Able to sit up to 4 hours, traveling to and from client sites

The Mid-Market Sales (MMS) team is a critical growth engine for medium-size clients in GCS in Turkish market. Through long-term relationship development, we're dedicated to understanding the business goals by providing advertising solutions to drive business success. We're responsible for increasing advertising business and product adoption growth by educating, promoting solutions, and pitching with clients directly.
As a Mid-Market Sales Manager, you'll lead and coach a high-performing sales team to help them understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses using an analytical approach to sales management. You'll motivate your team to exceed ambitious business and product targets and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), assisting them in managing portfolios of businesses at various stages. You'll set the outlook for how your team understands and transforms their customers and the business. You will own the strategy, planning, and execution of team-wide account growth. You'll contribute to the overall strategic direction of their segment of the Mid-Market Sales team.

Responsibilities- Recruit, retain, motivate, and develop a client-facing and high-performing sales team of account strategists and account executives.
- Deliver against ambitious business and product growth goals, grow engagement, and client satisfaction for a portfolio of medium businesses in an assigned market.
- Analyze data, trends, and client performance with your teams to develop strategic plans for customers while tracking activity. Provide detailed data analysis weekly, driving consistent CRM tracking.
- Model and coach sales behaviors including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and selling.
- Lead and strengthen executive-level relationships through key C-level meetings, business reviews, and communicating engagements.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Ability to communicate in English and Dutch fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and promoting.
- Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
