Head of Marketing & Communications - The Arts (Senior leadership opportunity with a leading Irish cultural institution) Location: Dublin 1 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: €60,000 €70,000 (commensurate with experience) A well-renowned theatre in the Irish arts space is seeking a creative, collaborative and commercially driven Head of Marketing & Communications to lead its strategic marketing, audience engagement and brand development functions. This is a senior leadership role that reports directly into the Artistic Director and manages a team of 2 people, and has hybrid working arrangements. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Commercial Leadership Develop and implement integrated strategies across marketing, sales, and communications. Guide and support the development of a high-performing marketing team. Drive box office and revenue growth through creative, results-driven campaigns. Contribute to organisational strategic planning and long-term vision development. Brand Development Lead a major rebranding project and uphold brand consistency and quality across all platforms. Serve as the internal and external brand guardian, ensuring excellence in execution. Marketing & Communications Design and oversee multi-channel campaigns for productions, events, and initiatives. Requirements Minimum 5 years experience in a senior marketing leadership role, ideally within the arts or cultural sectors. Demonstrated success in brand building, campaign leadership, and audience growth. Proven team leadership and staff development skills. Strong commercial experience in sales, pricing strategy, and income generation. Familiarity with CRM platforms and data-driven marketing tools. Experience in media relations, with existing relationships in the Irish media landscape. Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication abilities. Deep understanding of audience development and inclusive engagement. Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and Board-level audiences. The property is part of a well-established and growing hotel, committed to excellence and innovation. The Duties: Develop and implement the hotel's annual marketing and content strategy. Create engaging content for website, social media, email marketing, blogs, press releases, and advertising campaigns. Manage and grow the hotel's digital presence (social media, SEO, PPC, website updates, and newsletters). Coordinate with external agencies for PR, photography, and graphic design. Monitor marketing performance, using analytics tools to measure ROI and adapt campaigns accordingly. Drive seasonal campaigns and promotions in line with tourism trends and guest profiles.
