Salary: The successful candidate will be appointed aligned to point (01) of the Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher Salary Scales for pay purposes only i.e.
€54,307 gross per annum.

Minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience in clinical setting, preferably with a focus on emergency medicine.
Proven ability to review and validate medical content, treatment protocols, and clinical decision-making processes.
Experience with medical scenarios for training, simulation, or education, and experience in medical training and education.
Ability to translate clinical knowledge into structured, interactive learning experiences.
Strong interpersonal skills to work with educators, developers, and clinical partners.
(e.g., Bio Innovate, Health Innovation Hub Ireland, New Frontiers, etc.) Ability to document progress, maintain case templates, and contribute to formal reporting.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information effectively to a range of audiences.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the appropriate mix of knowledge, experience, skills, talent and abilities.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their demonstration of meeting every essential criterion so are asked to clearly outline how their experience and qualifications meet the criteria.
Desirable Knowledge of game mechanics, including progression systems, feedback loops, challenge/reward structures, and user engagement.
Familiarity with interactive learning environments, serious games, or simulation platforms.
Prior involvement in simulation platforms, digital health tools, or e-learning content.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including clinicians, educators, designers, and developers.
Familiarity with grant-funded projects, including reporting, milestone tracking, and stakeholder engagement.
Awareness of healthcare innovation pathways, procurement cycles, and barriers to adoption.
Exposure to clinical or educational environments in Ireland.
