Position Overview:
We are seeking an
Embedded Systems Engineer
with a strong background in Embedded C, python and system-level development. This is a
customer-facing role
, requiring hands-on development and direct technical interaction with ADI's customers and internal stakeholders. You will help bring advanced BMS products to life through robust embedded software, hardware integration, and algorithm support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and test embedded firmware in Embedded C for real-time BMS controllers.
- Design low-level drivers and system interfaces using I²C, SPI, and CAN.
- Use Python for test automation, scripting, and system-level validation.
- Work with PCB schematics and collaborate with hardware teams for bring-up and debugging.
- Support and validate battery algorithms (e.g., SoC, SoH).
- Interface with customers to support system integration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Deliver high-quality products and solutions to customers, including demos, validation packages, and technical handoff.
- Perform lab validation using oscilloscopes, amplifiers, function generators, and other test equipment.
- Create technical documentation and contribute to reference designs, test reports, and customer deliverables.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
- 4–8 years of experience in embedded firmware/system development.
- Proficiency in Embedded C and low-level microcontroller development.
- Strong Python skills for scripting, test automation, or validation tasks.
- Deep understanding of I²C, SPI, CAN protocols and embedded communications.
- Solid experience with oscilloscopes, amplifiers, function generators, and other lab instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret PCB schematics and component-level hardware designs.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and customer-facing communication skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with battery management systems or power electronics applications.
- Familiarity with battery algorithms for state estimation and diagnostics.

We are seeking an Embedded Systems Developer to work on our leading CoolCheck product suite, including software of the Kelsius Network wireless devices, Network Controller, Cellular Gateway, and associated applications, in addition to sensor to cloud solutions based on other technologies. Your development experience will allow you develop new features, in addition to maintaining the current codebase.
You will work in the R&D team alongside the Product Manager and the Testing team and be responsible for the full development life cycle of the device firmware variants. Your capability to understand requirements and to convert them to efficient solutions makes you an ideal self-starter candidate. Your ability to work on multiple projects in a very agile environment will set you apart.

About The Role
The System Hardware Validation Engineer will work as part of Qualcomm's SVE (System Validation Emulation) Team on leading technologies such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. SVE have a critical impact on getting high quality functional products to millions of customers quickly and we are hiring all levels from junior to staff roles. You will be joining a team of expert low-level validation engineers with diverse backgrounds (Synthetic OS, DDR memories, sensors, security, CPUs and caching, Nucleus RTOS, embedded systems) to test Qualcomm's next generation SoCs. As part of the system validation team you will develop or port test software to evaluate new hardware IPs.
The successful candidate will focus development in the areas of Driver/Firmware Development and Validation, Debug and Resolution of Issues and Software Use-Case Implementation. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with system architects, software engineers, hardware designers and verification engineers.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Electrical and Hardware Sustaining Engineer to join our global sustaining value engineering team. This role involves designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating components used in the medical device field. You will oversee multiple complex engineering projects with high business impact and work in a global cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement and value engineering initiatives on released hardware products.
- Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical design maintenance due to component obsolescence or value engineering proposals, including testing and validation.
- Prevent and respond to production stoppages due to supplier, design, or quality-related matters.
- Write and coordinate the implementation of engineering change orders.
- Identify potential medical device hazards and maintain Risk Management files.
- Design test methods and engineering studies.
- Create, review, and execute engineering studies, characterization assessments, and verification test protocols/reports.
- Lead and execute experimental and feasibility tests.
- Support qualification of new products/processes/testing and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Deliver medical device design documentation compliant with FDA design controls and good documentation practices.
- Conduct medical device safety testing and maintain product compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and resolve corrective and preventative actions using appropriate problem-solving techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of electrical engineering experience in the aerospace or medical device industry.
- Experience in PCB design, simulation and evaluation, regarding upgrades and obsolescence.
- Familiarity with FDA Quality System Regulations and CE Mark EU.
- Capacity and willingness to meet substantial documentary requirements in a regulated environment.
- Experience in medical device engineering, particularly sustaining engineering, is a plus.

Senior Hardware Systems Integration Engineer – Energy
The Data Center and Energy BU's purpose is to engineer a decarbonized, cleaner, and a more sustainable electrified future, and drive efficiencies in data centers. Developing solutions for the digitized grid; renewable energy generation; energy transmission, distribution, and storage; EV charging infrastructure; smart meters; and energy conversion, the group supports customers with break-through technology to convert, manage, and store electrical power.

The Role
The Senior Hardware Systems Integration Engineer will participate in the design and delivery of innovative system solutions to customers in the electric energy ecosystem, from the modernization of the transmission and distribution grid to green energy generation, and electric power conversion to energy storage systems. Product types include advanced grid sensors, smart meters, photovoltaic (PV) inverters, EV fast chargers, EV On-board Chargers, and ACDC and DCDC power supplies. The role requires a flexible and highly skilled systems engineer with expertise in electronic system and applications design while possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate should relish finding elegant solutions to complex system level challenges.
- Develop electrical energy systems from concept, through architecture and design to production.
- Identify and derive requirements from customer needs through to system requirements.
- Contribute to the architecture based on requirements (appropriate systems modelling and capturing into a requirements management tool) and coordinate it with the customer and internal stakeholders including software, hardware, security, and functional safety.
- Conduct design reviews with project team.
- Design, build, and test electric energy products
- Work with marketing on product strategy planning and customer engagement.

Requirements
The candidate should have a firm grasp of hardware design principles and also understand embedded software development and control loop design for electric energy systems. Strong candidates will have many of the following experience and qualifications:
- Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering; MSEE and 5+ years of experience preferred.
- The candidate is expected to employ systems thinking and have demonstrated excellence in systems design in one or more electric energy industries within the last 5-10 years.
Experience in designing hardware and/or software for one or more of the following
high voltage (up to 2 kV) energy systems including kW power levels
- AC/DC, DCDC, and DC/AC power conversion topologies and technologies.
- renewable energy generation and connection to the grid
- data center power supply design
battery energy storage systems and/or battery management systems
Experience in electrical circuit design, cooling systems, and software algorithms and control.
- Familiarity with embedded software for electric energy systems such as Linux, RTOS or bare-metal
- Experience in automotive systems or functional safety is desired.
- Proven experience in full system design with good knowledge of systems modelling and requirements capture, especially in the context of safety-relevant systems.
- Knowledge of certification requirements and procedures in relevant countries is desired
- Familiarity with tools like JAMA and Matlab.
