Parker Stewart are partnering with a leading housing organisation organisation who are looking to hire an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Platform Lead on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role will be on a hybrid basis.
A key function for this role will be playing an integral part of a strategic transformation by migrating core business applications to Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Key Duties:
- Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other business-critical applications
- Lead development, enhancements, and integrations for Dynamics and third-party systems to ensure scalability, security, and alignment with business needs
- Mentor and guide the internal application support team, building capabilities and fostering a collaborative, service-oriented culture

Role Overview
We are a dynamic and growing organisation of approximately 300 employees, committed to leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency and service delivery. We have recently undertaken a strategic transformation by migrating our core business applications to Microsoft Dynamics 365, forming the foundation for a modern digital ecosystem.
Our technology function is undergoing significant change, with further business-critical applications scheduled to move onto the Dynamics platform. In parallel, we continue to operate and support a number of third-party applications outside of Dynamics. These systems remain key to our operations, and ensuring their alignment, integration, and support is a critical part of this role.
Key Responsibilities
The Microsoft Dynamics Lead will be responsible for providing technical leadership and architectural oversight for Microsoft Dynamics 365, as well as broader application oversight across the organisation. This includes ensuring the integrity, performance, and compliance of third-party applications that are integrated with or operate alongside Dynamics.
You will guide and mentor our internal application support team, lead on development and support of both Dynamics and non-Dynamics systems, and act as a key liaison with our external partners. This role is essential in building internal capability, maintaining a high-performing applications landscape, and supporting the organisation's ongoing digital transformation.
Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Provide architectural oversight and governance for all business applications, including non-Dynamics third-party systems.
- Serve as the technical owner of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and contribute to the strategic management of the wider application estate.
- Working with our Data Engineering team, ensure interoperability, data integrity, and consistent integration between applications.
- Support rationalisation and transition planning for legacy systems as applications are consolidated onto the Dynamics platform.
Development, Delivery & Integration
- Lead technical design and delivery of enhancements, customisations, and new capabilities within Dynamics 365.
- Oversee development and integration efforts involving third-party systems and external service providers.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and meet business requirements across the applications portfolio.
Team Development & Leadership
- Provide day-to-day leadership and technical mentoring to a team.
- Build internal capabilities in Dynamics and broader application support, including development and troubleshooting skills.
- Promote a proactive, service-oriented, and collaborative team culture.
Business Engagement & BAU Operations
- Act as the primary technical liaison for business stakeholders in relation to Dynamics and other core applications.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of third-party applications (e.g. upgrades, renewals, vendor relationships).
- Oversee incident management, change control, and BAU support for the full application portfolio.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure applications (Dynamics and non-Dynamics) comply with data protection, security, and audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure appropriate controls are in place across the application landscape.
- Track software licensing, support contracts, and vendor compliance.
Corporate Responsibilities

Job Description
Plan, design, estimate, develop and implement Dynamics solutions based on established patterns and best practices, working with development teams as well as directly with customers
- Assist in driving the adoption of cloud solutions and provide technical advice to team members
- Engage with Technical Leads and Solution Architects to ensure technical delivery aligns with solution design/project plans, showcasing technical expertise and knowledge of the technology
- Continue to develop product and technology knowledge in order the deliver the best solutions for the customer
- Liaise directly with customers to gather/refine requirements
- Management of solutions through the application lifecycle
Qualifications
- Demonstrated project experience developing solutions using the Microsoft Dynamics platform and core technologies (D365 CE/Power Platform) and associated ALM strategies
- Demonstrated experience of delivering Dynamics migrations and upgrades
- Clear knowledge of the Microsoft stack (.NET, JavaScript, ASP.NET, MVC, C# .Net for Plugins and custom workflows, Integrations using .NET)
- Experience with Dynamics 365 workflows (internal and Power Automate)
- Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS and/or KingswaySoft
- Experience developing solutions using Dynamics 365 applications (Customer Engagement, Sales, Customer Service)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in DevOps teams

About the RoleWe are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Functional Consultant to join our growing team in Dublin. This role is ideal for someone passionate about enabling business transformation through CRM technologies. Key Responsibilities- Client Engagement & Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into CRM solution requirements.
