We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to join our growing team. In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for the full project lifecycle—from requirements gathering to solution delivery—ensuring that our D365 Business Central implementations align with client business goals.


You will collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to design and configure systems, support go-lives, and provide training and post-implementation support.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV implementation projects.
  • Conduct high-level discovery sessions and demonstrations during pre-sales engagements.
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure alignment with project goals and deliverables.
  • Analyse client business processes and requirements to design effective solutions.
  • Develop and document solution architectures and functional specifications.:
  • Provide comprehensive training to users on Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV functionality.
  • Deliver post-implementation support and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and enhancements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior consultants and project team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Delegate tasks effectively while ensuring accountability and quality.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for process improvements and innovation within projects
  • Ensure all project activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of project activities, decisions, and changes.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Essential skills & experience:

  • Lead Consultant with strong finance and business process skills acquired in a customer facing role
  • Strong experience as a lead in complete project lifecycle to include requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design and architecture, user training, testing (SIT and UAT), data migration and go-live support.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with proven functional skills in Dynamics 365 Business Central and / or NAV.
  • Implementation experience to include the following functionality within Dynamics NAV/Business Central: GL, FA, AP/P2P, AR/O2C, Workflows, Inventory management, Project Management/Jobs, Roles and permissions, and Config packages
  • Delivering support to existing implementations and identifying opportunities with customers



Highly desirable skills & experience:


Experience in Jet reports, Continia Document Capture, Continia Expense Management, Power Platform (some knowledge of BI, Power Apps and Power Automate.)
Pre-sales engagement experience including initial high-level discovery and demonstrations,
Industry/project experience to include multi-company/multi-currency organisations, supply chain/distribution, manufacturing, contracting/professional services, public sector organisation.

Confident communicator/presenter with ability to manage customer/ stakeholder relationships
Comfortable leading workshops and working in a customer facing role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA leadership, test automation with enterprise systems (including ERP), along with the ability to work collaboratively across business units, engineering teams, and external vendors. Closing Date 1st August 2025 Responsibilities Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and test cases for enterprise application projects, ensuring full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements Drive test automation strategy and implement tools and frameworks where appropriate Establish and operate high performing combined Test and software QA function that will ensure all applications meet predefined d QA standards Lead and coordinate quality assurance activities across ERP and engineering/business applications (e.g. Finance, HR, CRM, PLM, AEC Apps, etc.) Ensure alignment with SDLC / Agile / Dev Ops practices and support continuous improvement in QA processes Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and third-party vendors to understand requirements and ensure high-quality delivery Lead defect triage and resolution processes; establish and maintain a central defect management system Oversee and perform system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT) support, and regression testing for ongoing system changes Provide QA input during the planning and design phases of enterprise implementations Manage QA resources (internal and/or external) and coordinate test activities across multiple workstreams Contribute to risk assessments and provide quality metrics/reporting to stakeholders Stay current with industry QA trends, tools, and practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field Proven experience (5+ years) in QA/Test leadership roles, ideally in complex enterprise environments Hands-on experience with ERP implementation projects (e.g. SAP, Deltek, i Paa S platforms). Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Load Runner) Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test lifecycle, and best practices for enterprise applications Experience with AEC Apps (e.g. Autodesk, Hexagon & simulation software) is a strong advantage Demonstrated expertise in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Test Complete, Tosca, JUnit, etc.) Proficiency in defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, HP ALM) Understanding of integrations, APIs, middleware, and data validation testing Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid project environments Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
