**Roles & Responsibilities:**
+ Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure systems
+ Configure and administer Cisco routing and switching equipment
+ Manage F5 load balancers to ensure application availability and performance
+ Administer Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IP address management systems
+ Troubleshoot complex network issues and implement appropriate solutions
+ Perform regular network maintenance and planned upgrades
+ Monitor network performance and conduct capacity planning
+ Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures
+ Implement network security measures and best practices
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
**Basic Qualifications and Experience:**
+ Master's degree with 2+ years of experience in Network Operations, OR
+ Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in Network Operations, OR
+ Diploma with 5+ years of experience in Network Operations, OR
**Functional Skills:**
**Must-Have Skills:**
+ Previous, or current, CCNP certification (required)
+ Proven experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies (required)
+ Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining F5 load balancers (required)
+ Proficiency with Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions (required)
+ Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, etc.)
+ Experience with network security concepts and implementation
**Good-to-Have Skills:**
+ CCIE certification
+ Experience with SD-WAN solutions
+ Knowledge of automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)
+ Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
+ Experience with network monitoring tools
+ Knowledge of ITIL practices
+ Experience with DevOps, S/W development and scripting
+ Experience with Software-Defined Networking (SD-WAN)
+ Familiarity with network orchestration platforms
+ Good knowledge of industry tools
**Professional Certifications:**
+ CCNP certification (previous or current) (mandatory)
+ CCIE certification (preferred)
+ F5 Certified Administrator (preferred)
+ Infoblox certification (preferred)

**Shift Information:** This position is an onsite role and may require working during later hours to align with business hours. Candidates must be willing and able to work outside of standard hours as required to meet business needs.

**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 6 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers.
+ Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python.
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ 15 years of experience with large-scale networks or distributed systems in designing and implementing optimal network topologies for overlay services.
+ 10 years of experience in cross-organizational development of networking products and technologies.
+ Ability to understand critical components of a network delivery pipeline, including automated planning, optimization, build, repair, and safety, and isolation of these functions into software services, with the ability to re-design the APIs between these services.
+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the development of software that improves the velocity, performance, safety, transparency, and manageability of Google network systems across various engineering teams.
+ Drive innovation and create requirements and develop designs for new networking product ideas, process improvements, technology velocity, higher systems performance, and cost reductions across organizational boundaries.
+ Own the quantifiable analysis of measurements or data and capacity forecast models for making Google networks more scalable, efficient, and deliver a predictable user experience.
+ Evaluate the current inefficiencies, complexities, and flaws in network systems, and propose designs, software, and processes to improve them.
+ Own resolution for software, hardware, and other network and system problems by determining and recommending appropriate solutions in partnership with other engineering teams.
