This is a rare opportunity to step into a Network & Security Architect position within a leading Irish technology consultancy. You'll work directly alongside the Technical Director, shaping high-impact network and security solutions for a diverse range of enterprise customers.

The role has come about due to an internal promotion - meaning you'll be joining a high-performing team where progression is both achievable and encouraged. If you're an experienced Network Engineer or Consultant looking to take ownership of end-to-end design, pre-sales and implementation leadership, this is your next move.

You'll join a business that has established partnerships with the industry's leading vendors and is investing heavily in next-generation technologies such as CATO SD-WAN, Versa, Azure Cloud Networking, and SOC/SIEM integrations.

Responsibilities:


• Lead customer-facing architecture sessions to capture requirements and translate them into robust, scalable designs.


• Own solution design for LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, and Security projects.


• Work across pre-sales and delivery to ensure seamless execution.


• Guide junior team members and act as the escalation point for complex designs.


• Collaborate with the Technical Director to drive strategic vendor relationships and shape technical direction.


• Oversee implementations and ensure successful project outcomes.


• Contribute to proposals, HLDs, and SOWs for customer projects.

Skills / Must Have:


• Strong experience in Cisco and Palo Alto environments.


• Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies — CATO or Versa preferred.


• Hands-on with Aruba Wi-Fi and Switching.


• Exposure to Azure Cloud Networking.


• Experience with SOC/SIEM platforms.


• Proven track record in solution design, pre-sales, and customer engagement.


• Confident presenting solutions and guiding customers through technical strategy.

Salary:

€85,000 – €90,000 per annum

Location:

Based in Dublin or Limerick – 3 days a week in the office
